FEELING A BIT LET DOWN. I spoke with Nance Floral Shoppe about an order they filled as a sub contractor of https://www.flowershopping.com/studio-54/Two Issues: One on Ordering end with Contractor: Flowershopping.comOne on Subcontractor end: Nance Floral ShoppeREGARDING: Item ordered: Deluxe Studio 54DELIVERED: January 3rd/ the day of this review I inform Nance Flower Shoppe about the NOTICABLE differences in what I ordered and what was delivered. I shared my disappointments.The description from flowershopping.com is attached but here is an excerpt."With its mix of pure white flowers, tiny mirrored disco balls and curling silver ribbons, this bowl of blossoms is the hippest gift in town."I tell Nance Flower Shoppe that there was no curler ribbon, there are no miniature mirrored disco balls, instead there is something like a cage ball, more like a cat toy sprayed with silver glitter.Nancee Flower Shoppe explained to me, Direct quotes:"We were out of those", "Everything costs money", "There are no kits that have those disco balls" "We charge $10.00 for delivery off the top." Paraphrased quote, "This may result in skimpier flowers"I do have to point out when Nance Flower Shoppe saysthey didn't have any curler ribbon...I am baffled. (curler ribbon is an inexpensive STAPLE in a florist shop). I made the remark to Nance Flower Shoppe, "I don't know how much business you are making through this company, but it doesn't do well for you. I shared the trouble with the contractor. I expressed I have disappointment on both ends the ordering and the delivery. I said there is a review forum for each, and that before I left a review, I wanted to be a least decent about it and see what the story was. The tone is frustrated, mixed with apologetic on the part of Nance Flower Shoppe throughout the call, but upon hearing this would like to offer $10.00 off, but quickly realizes hands are tied from the nature of the order being through a contractor. The Deluxe STUDIO 54 was listed for $61.16 marked down from $67.95My card was charged $70.56I left the following review for Contractor: flowershopping.comITEM NOT AS DESCRIBEDOrdered Flowers on NYE for NYDChose Deluxe. Get call saying cannot delivery until Monday. I paid rush delivery, I told them to refund fee for rush had to really press. So friend sends picture and the arrangement is obviously skimpy, no curler ribbon, no mirrored disco balls as in description. instead what looked like cat toy cage ball sprayed with silver glitter. NOT PRETTY. Here I am in New Jersey, ordering for a friend in Indiana. Really disappointed in the $110 bouquet my siblings and I ordered for our mom for Mother's Day. I realize there may be shortages due to covid, and the website does mention that they may replace flowers with similar ones, but what I ordered and what was delivered are two completely different products, and the difference between what I paid and the value of the bouquet is obviously significant. I would have appreciated honesty upfront saying that they simply did not have the materials to complete the order. Would've given one star but added a second because their customer service was friendly during the ordering process. As the saying goes; a picture is worth 1000 words- please see attached photos of what I ordered vs what was received.

I have used Nance for over 40 years and never had a problem. I had an Aunt dying of cancer who lived just outside the delivery range and they refused to deliver the arrangement I ordered. Within the same week my Aunt died. So I tried Nance again since the funeral home doing the service is within the delivery range. Immediately after I placed the order on line, the phone rings and its Nance. The same lady that refused to deliver earlier in the week, proceeded to tell me - "We dont have the wind chime you ordered, you can either take a smaller one or cancel the order, your choice." How rude and unsympathetic. She acted as if my business wasn't important to her. So be it - I called Abersolds - I will never use Nance again.

I will NEVER use this local florist again! I was trying to send my mom a thinking of you arrangement and did it online to try to surprise her. I called the next day to make sure it had been delivered and it had not. No one contacted me to let me know that it hadn't been delivered. Apparently their web service wasn't working so they didn't even know there was an order that had not been fulfilled. This is ridiculous. There is NO excuse for this...My mom didn't get to receive the joy of getting unexpected flowers at her work. I feel awful!

Nance did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! Our colors were purple, lavender, and white. Originally, I was worried about finding flowers that would fit into my idea of what I wanted, but after meeting with her I felt so peaceful with having someone else do my flowers! Her and her staff are very talented, and their shop is so inviting. The best part is they are real people - not just another company out to take advantage of you on your big day. In looking at other florists, Nance had the most reasonable pricing. On top of that, she was very accomodating and helpful in assisting us in choosing the type of floral bouquets we wanted. If I got to plan my wedding a second time, I would absolutely use Nance's Florist again! 5 Stars!

Nance Floral Shoppe has always made the most beautiful table centerpieces for a couple birthday dinners I have hosted. From 5 centerpieces to 20, they have always been so pleasant to work with and makes the best arrangements. This is the most recent bouquet I received today. My husband ordered this from California over the phone and it's absolutely stunning! You will not be disappointed if you use Nance Floral Shoppe

They have always gone above and beyond to do any arrangement that I have ordered. Carol is always cheerful and willing to help even when I am sure they are busy. I have ordered flowers from Nance's since the early 90's. I have tried others in the area and always go back to Nance's. They are wonderful to work with.

I chose a basket of flowers from their website and called them with the item number. They were very nice on the phone but when the flowers were delivered they were nothing like the picture. I ordered lavender and pink flowers in a beautiful woven brown basket. What I got was yellow and white and pink flowers in an ugly white basket. Nothing like the picture and not near s many flowers. I spent almost $75.00 Not going back there. I sent an email to complain but it was ignored. Guess they don't stand behind their product.
