I searched for an orchard the day before my birthday to celebrate with my little family. I personally think this is much better than Hubert. They have a lot more variety my son can do as he is less than 2 yrs old. I definitely prefer their slides because they're big enough for adults to go along. Also, it rained a little bit and so happy they didn't cancel the rides.

We (my family and I) were looking for a pumpkin patch and farm experience nearby (Louisville) that was taking pandemic precautions. We found that and more at Mulberry! We were delighted to be able to socially distance (as much as possible) on the wagon ride to and from the pumpkin patch. It was also nice to see folks being respectful and wearing masks on the rides and while in the store. All employees were friendly, helpful, and wearing masks. We came for the pumpkin patch but we stayed for the goats, walk through the corn maze, farm fresh shop, apple cider donuts, and apple cider slushees. Our adult kids told us they really enjoyed our time there, we will definitely return!

I visited Mulberry Orchard for a race with KentuckyRuns, the 2019 Great Pumpkin 5k. The orchard is charming and cute, a great place to pick some fruit, buy some tasty season foods, and bring your kids to play and pet some farm animals. It really hits all the marks for what you would expect from a farm or orchard. In terms of the race, though, I was really impressed. They were amply prepared for the mass of folks to show up for the run through the trees and fields. There was plenty of parking and a very good number of volunteers to direct participants in the correct direction. Packet pick up was a breeze and quick and simple. The trail was simple to follow, clear and as safe as a race through nature could be. We ended with our own mini pumpkin, a cup of delicious apple cider and a cool (albeit cheap and it has already fallen apart) medal that is also a magnet! It was definitely one of the best organized and executed novelty races I have done. I would absolutely participate again next year. And in the meantime, I wouldn't mind another visit to the orchard just to experience it on its own merits.

As (mostly) lifelong Shelbyvillians I'm ashamed that we're just now making our way out to visit Mulberry Orchard. I tried once a while ago, but it was closed. Located off Cropper Rd, it's tucked away in the more rural area of Shelby County. The map has it in the wrong spot on Waze, so maybe try another GPS app if you're not familiar with the area. First impression was... WOW! They've really done a great job in making their little farm super inviting and kiddo friendly. They have a huge play area. For $10 your family can play unlimited times until the end of September and it's so worth it. They have huge slides off a combine, a short bus full of corn, swings, giant tired, etc. There's also a corn maze... and it's not joke. Bring water and provisions cause we were lost in there for a hot (literal) minute. So fun though! We also left with a 1/4 peck of peaches. Juicy, fuzzy, perfection. Can't beat it for $6. So go check out this local biz! It's worth the trek.

Awesome place! I could spend all day here! Employees were polite and down to earth. You pay just $10.00 per family for a day full of fun. That gives you access to a huge play area that is super cool...good for all ages and very unique. A corn maze is located right beside it. A tractor comes about every 30 minutes or so and takes you out to pick your own peaches, apples, and pumpkins. You pass by a barn full of tobacco! The trip is very peaceful.Once you return, they have a small cafe with lunch items, peach and cider slushies, and the best apple cider donuts I have ever had....yes, they beat Hubers! Food items were inexpensive...a nice surprise. They also have a store where you can buy fresh veggies, cider, donuts to-go, caramel apples, tomatoes, and an assortment of jams, honey, and salsa. This store is accessible without paying the $10.00 family fee..meaning it would be an AWESOME market to stop for seasonal goods. One thing would make this better...if they were open later and had bonfires. :) During pumpkin season, theyre open until 6.I highly recommend this for families. They have a lot more for kids to do than similar places and its not as pricey as those competitors. It makes for a fun day!

Outstanding. Affordable. Great customer service....I got quite a few things for a great price and the peaches were amazing. I can't wait to go back. They have quite a few options for purchase including local honey, fresh veggies, jams/preserves...fresh local meats, eggs, and more stuff but I can't recall them off the top of my head. It's a beautiful drive and a day can be made of it...Plus, there is a cute little playground for the littles!

This was our first time here, we found out about it from a friend. The drive from Louisville was beautiful. This is a small family owned farm and you really get that feel. They had a small store selling goods, jams, pumpkins, apples, etc. They also had a concession stand selling hot dogs, BBQ, sandwiches, etc. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch for those who choose or buy them at the front store. Two mazes, corn and soybean are offered, they were both fun and fulfilling. They had a few things for smaller kids, slide, climb bails. All in all nice little place.

I was very disappointed. We came in early August thinking we would be able to pick apples and peaches. We could not. The farmers market was open so we did not leave empty handed, and the fruit was delicious as were the other farm fresh goodies (eggs, bbq, salad dressings). But I would have loved to be able to do the UPICK. My bad for not reading up more on the farm before making the drive. It was hot 100 degrees hot and my kids wanted to go home, so we did not explore the playground that they charge $10.00 for. 4 stars because it is a family run business and they make a good product. The staff is all very young, local kids and relatives of the farm owners. The drive in is through tobacco fields, so I had to explain that to my kids (KY cash crops).

We have been to Mulberry orchard in the summer for peaches and in the fall for apples. Both experiences were amazing! Our kids love the giant slide, tricycle race track, and cylinder hamster wheels. They also have a great farm store, animals, and a food stand. It's worth the drive from Louisville! You can feel the difference between commercial farms and family owned and operated ones like Mulberry.
