Moon River Bed & Breakfast

There is just an atmosphere....I love this place.. Denny, the innkeeper, is making improvement after improvement in his magical bnb.

Great experience at Moon River! The Maysville room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast and conversations were amazing! We felt completely welcomed and also respected of our privacy. Beautiful, historic home that is walkable to anywhere downtown. Definitely recommend for a little getaway! Maysville in general looks to have a ton of history and charm, great historic architecture. Quiet getaway and quick drive from Cincinnati (recommend taking rt52). Due to Covid some businesses were closed but enough to see while walking. Definitely recommend the Kentucky gateway museum and bourbon distillery.

Wow! Visiting here is like going to see your relatives - the ones that you actually, really like and who can cook too. Seriously, Marti and Mike are great hosts. They are friendly yet unobtrusive. They know the area and have great suggestions about what to see and where to eat. They are also fun to sit and talk to after you have worn Breakfasts are excellent. Marti consulted with us the night before on what sounded good for breakfast and the next morning - there it was! So many BnB's have a set menu and that's it. Hers is customized to what sounds good to the guest.We stayed for a long weekend in the Maysville room. It is very large, tastefully updated, and has all the comforts, such as large TV with streaming. The town itself is a hidden gem. Plenty to do and see for a weekend, with several good restaurants. There is also Amish country nearby which was a bonus to us.We had a wonderful weekend, and plan to do it again.
