Monte Alban Mexican Restaurant

Excellent food and service!! They never let me down. I had the Chicken Chimichangas today and they were great. The chips and salsa w/cilantro were great. The Dos Equis Amber in a frosty glass mug was perfect.

This was a stop on a road-trip & we bookmarked it for next time! Tortilla chips were warm & salsa had a lot of flavor & a little bit of chunkiness. They had a lot of seafood options on the menu, which for me is a plus. I went with the shrimp taco salad. Pleasantly surprised that it was served with large shrimp & a lot of it! Asked for the house hot sauce & it was one of my favorites (kind of creamy & habanero that hits you after 30-sec or so -- I took some to go). Very friendly staff & service. Will add this to my list of favorite road trip stops!

This was a pretty decent Mexican restaurant that was one of our first places to eat while we were on our adventure this summer. I walked in seal immediately it was kind of quiet in there which is fine she had some TVs almost a sports so we kind of glanced at it the thing that kind of hold me back from getting this a higher rating I really didn't like the salsa and my kids love salsa and they didn't really like it either which is OK he just wasn't for us it was still a good place the service was fine and it's just kind of an OK place it's nothing great nothing I would say here you must go get it immediately what I mean he got the job done we weren't hungry anymore so three stars isn't bad

Dinner was good wonderful! I had the taco salad with steak and my husband had a burrito. Great service as well!

So our first dinner after coming out of the mountains and we looked on Yelp for some great Mexican. Chose this place but had a concern when we saw an empty parking lot at a strip mall but they brought it. The food was great and we ordered a pitcher of premium margaritas and I thought the price would be more than our entire bill was. This place is super solid.

This has been our favorite Mexican! We were devastated to find it closed and out of business!Fortunately, the owner had just moved and taken over the Gringoes and ???? Restaurant still on 60, but, nearer to Barboursville! Go there! Their name will change to this one soon!

What a great stop this was. I was actually looking for a different restaurant and decided to try this one. Well sometimes it's better to be lucky than smart. They were very kind with the portions and everything was right on. If I'm ever back in this area I will surely stop in.

I ordered the enchiladas where u get 3, one of each type. They were very good. Cheesy and stuffed full with a side of rice and beans, only I requested no beans and double rice. They were quite busy but still quickly found a table to accommodate my wheelchair and service was good.

I FOUND IT! I am a Colorado transplant looking for authentic Mexican food in Huntington, WV. I found it at Monte Alban. TY,

Most underrated Mexican place in the tri state. Amazing every time I've been and cheap. Best place hands down
