First visit after hearing about this place multiple times over the last few weeks; I should've known it would be packed the day after new years! Very cute space, lots of sunlight, friendly staff, and delicious food. I can rarely say that I would get the exact same meal next time, but everything I tasted here was delicious. For 2 people it was about $60 with tip for 2 drinks, 2 entrees, a side of potatoes and a pastry. The dining room is quite small and we had to wait around for a place to sit, as did others. There's even a little provisions and wine section for take home. Parking is tricky so you might have to park up the street and walk around the block. Would return

Such a cute coffee and wine shop in Madisonville! Came here the morning after Christmas for some coffee and breakfast and it was delightful! You order at the counter and can take your food/drinks to go or sit down at one of their many tables.We got a pastry, breakfast sammy, and two coffee drinks. It was all excellent! I got one of the seasonal specials (the maple ube latte) and it was really really tasty! We got a pistachio cream and jelly filled pastry which was also super yummy. We will definitely be back!

I've been wanting to check this place out and finally did! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and man was this place packed!The drinks - I ordered their chai latte and it was very good! 5/5! My husband ordered the cappuccino and he liked it even though he could tell it was a lighter roast - he's a dark roast kind of guy. Pastry - Almost croissant was VERY tasty. I'd ordered this again.Vibe - The vibe of this place is really trendy lol. I love the interior.. beautiful!Service - The cashier who took our order was NOT friendly what so ever.. she kind of had a stick up her a$$. When I had asked what flavor a certain croissant was - she gave a huge sigh as if I should have known (there were no labels!) and it was such an inconvenience that I asked. Lastly.. we had to sit outside in the back because there was no space inside so she came out with our drink and my husband had apologized that it was a far walk since we were outside and she rolled her eyes.. he wasn't even being sarcastic or anything.I would have loved to give this place 4-5 starts but the attitude of the employee ruined it.

This is a beautiful coffee and pastry house with a great atmosphere and lots of seating. I got an avocado toast and peppermint latte, and both were fantastic. My friend got the buttered rolls, which she also enjoyed. To our surprise, the rolls were served with a cherry cardamom butter- it seems like they rotate the flavors, which I thought was a nice touch to an otherwise simple dish. My only issue with this place was the price. I paid 12 dollars for a singlular piece of avocado toast and 6 dollars for the latte (not including tip). It just hurt to see the total for coffee and toast, haha. Otherwise it's a great spot!

I picked up a latte to go--little disappointed by the small size for the price point (seemed smaller than a Starbucks tall). When I asked about other size options, the barista said there was only one--no details on number of shots but it was a little bitter. Parking is rough--paid street even just to run in for pickup.

Love Mom and 'em, and this location is convenient when you are on the East side. On this visit, our order was taken by Mom herself! Woohoo! And we thoroughly enjoyed everything we had.I had a honey latte and an avocado toastie. They were both very good, and the bread they use is still to die for. My dining partner got a hot chocolate and a tinned fish plate: smoked mackerel with lemon and capers accompanied by toast (I know, who goes to a coffee shop and gets tinned fish for gosh sakes??). Ah! This is a hybrid shop where you can also get a glass of wine or other adult beverage. They have a number of tinned fish selections so plenty to choose from if you have a friend like mine! I have yet to experience the broader menu, but we did got a chocolate croissant and almond croissant to go!Love the ambiance, bright and clean. We ate at a small table, between shelves of wine bottles. Street parking. Friendly servers.

LOVE this coffee shop. Really cute interior, and while the parking isn't amazing, it's a great spot to work or chill with friends. The potatoes with the aioli are literally life changing.

I come here all the time for their phenomenal egg sandwiches and not-too-sweet coconut cold brew, but I wanted to leave a particular review for the customer service I received yesterday.After my boyfriend and I were served our sandwiches, it took them a while for us to receive our coffee drinks. They're always pretty fast at this location, so I thought "Oh, they probably just forgot it, no big deal." My boyfriend went up to the front to ask if they were still working on our coffee order, and they were extremely apologetic. While they were making our order, an employee came over and gave us a free (huge) pastry to eat while we were waiting and explained that they may have lost the paper our order was on. We were served with our drinks not even 2 minutes later.We were so impressed at how seriously they took customer service, even though we were truly unbothered by this situation, haha. They deserve a 6 star review!!

Mom 'N 'Em is my favorite place to grab breakfast and a coffee with a friend to catch up. You can bring your homework or work-work here and get it all done in their comfortable seating area, or sit out back when the weather is nice. The cinnamon sugar toastie is my absolute favorite! All the coffees I've tried are great as well. Love this place!

The coffee is still fantastic but what happened to the breakfast sandwich? The $10 price tag was already a bit much but they've seemingly reduced everything but the muffin and price. This thing had 1 egg, a bit of cheese and a tiny amount of bacon. I'll still stop by for coffee but I won't be getting breakfast here again anytime soon.***Editing to reply to the owner***The price was the same. The sandwich itself was different. The second was WAY smaller. Barely any bacon or cheese. I am all about supporting small businesses but that was an odd response for me mentioning a smaller portion for the same price.
