Just stopped on our way through town at this spot. Thought it was more of a sub/deli sandwich spot but seemed like a pizza place that does subs, which wasn't a bad thing. You order at the counter so not really service to mention, but no complaints. Plenty of seats and most people looked to be locals on lunch which isn't a bad thing in my book.The meatball sub was actually pretty darn good! I added pepperoni to it and trust me on that move, well worth it. Good size and nice crunchy bread too. Wouldn't go out of my way or anything, but I enjoyed it and was a good lunch while on our road trip. I try not to each nationwide chains and support local when I can..

If you're looking for a non-chain sub-shop, this is your pick. Other reviews can regale you with their selections, but for me, it's the meatball sub, which reminds me of the grinders I've gotten on the East Coast. The sauce is perfect, and the meatballs are delicious, but the bread steals the show. My wife opts for the Italian Sub and loves it every time. I've also got a good Philly sub here. There is no cheese whiz, but it's close to the recipe. Inside the place is nothing to write home about. One big drawback: You might miss the place because the owner hasn't changed the sign, which says "The Mill pizza" out front. It gives the impression that it's not open, or about the close. It was acceptable for a few months, but after years, it's time to invest the sign, my guy.

We were curious what was on the menu but couldn't find one online so we stopped by and took these photos to save others from the same problem. As soon as I opened the door I was surrounded by the delicious scent of Italian subs. Instant mouth watering. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered the super Italian sub and chicken bacon ranch (CBR) sub. The CBR was good, but kind of one-note in texture and flavor. I had asked for pickles but was told that the only pickles they offered were spears. Luckily, I had some Jimmy John's peppers in the fridge, so I added those and voila! so much better, delicious in fact! The real star of the night was the super Italian sub. It was so good that our family who came to visit later in the evening took our suggestion and stopped by to get some as well. We will definitely return for the super Italian sub, and if they decide to start offering dill pickle slices, I would gladly order more subs as well.

The subs are amazing! They've recently been running low on some of their most popular items and the ambiance isn't the best but the food is good, when they have what ya want.

The bread for the subs is awesome- I did the Italian w/ everything and this is now a date night dinner spot because sweety loved the ham and cheese Solid 5 stars And don't forget the cannolis!! : excellent meal overall

Food is great! Always good food and fast service! Pries are reasonable! Will be back! You gotta try cannolis!

Favorite sub place!! Amazing bread!! My go to is the garbage sub always a 16 in and their meatball subs are so yummy. Always order at the firehouse!

Came back and got a sandwich, had a hair in it. Noticed that the staff doesn't wear hair nets. Probably won't be back. No I didn't say anything to management, just voicing concerns about this here.

Tried so many times to get a hold of the owner but no one ever answered Ordered from Mr Sub from all your locations for many years. Ordered last week and after over an hour I had to call because we never received our sub. Girl answered, said she was manager and told me they did deliver sub but we never answered the door. We told her no one ever came and we could prove it with our camera in yard. She said she'd redeliver sub. That one never came. I called back and was yelled at for giving wrong address. Sorry but I've lived here over 30 years and that's the address on google maps and the one they've delivered to for over 20 years. She also told me I shouldn't order from them again! I have tried to get a hold of owner several times with no response. I have camera proof no one ever came plus google maps that my address is correct. I know it's hard to get employees but at least respond when a customer has a problem
