Best Restaurant in the area, and a great value!Table service with friendly and attentive staff. Menu includes breakfast, sandwiches, and dinners, but the real gems are on the "Daily Specials" board. I had to choose between the Meatloaf special and the Hot Brown special. The kind server said both were good choices, but she recommended the Hot Brown. So that's what I ordered. Along with a side salad, some mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and a super large and moist corn cake. The Hot Brown was served in an individual casserole dish. It had toasted bread with turkey & ham smothered in a homemade cheese sauce and topped with a fresh slice of tomato and several strips of bacon. It was toasty, warm, and delicious. So glad I ordered it. The salad was fresh and arrived with crackers, lots of grated cheddar cheese and a dish of dressing on the side. Their desserts were freshly made and looked great. We took 1 piece of Pineapple Upside Down Cake and 1 piece of German Chocolate Cake to go. The food was homemade, tasty, and plentiful. It's exactly what you want from a local diner. The service was excellent and the decorations made the restaurant feel cozy and casual. This restaurant serves good food at a fair price, and I look forward to returning soon.

Trust me- get off at exit 48 from I-65 in Kentucky and drive about a mile to enjoy the delicious home cooking here! I'm so glad we did! Our server recommended a special from the board and she was right on- the Kentucky Hot brown with homemade cheese sauce and fresh slice of tomato mixed perfectly with the slice of turkey and ham on toast. Delish! It comes with 2 sides and I expect they are all very good but I loved the hot broccoli and cheese side and the cold pea salad side. In fact I even ordered one to take home! Couldn't resist also ordering a slice each of homemade German Chocolate cake and pineapple upside down cake for us to take home. They are smart- they bake the desserts and leave them right near the customer's tables so you realize during your meal that you must try those fabulous homemade desserts too! We noticed that all the servers were attentive and kind, prices are very reasonable and although it is an older building and establishment- I could not have cared less because I loved the food way more than worrying about the ambience . This is a "must stop in to eat" kind of place- oh, and parking is easy in the empty lot across the street.

This is a great place to get a fast diner-style meal. We stopped in on our way to camp at Mammoth Cave National Park. The breakfast was your basic breakfast foods, but it hit the spot after a long drive and was very comforting. The food arrived very fast as well. Once you're done, you pay at the counter before you leave. The servers were all very nice and welcoming.

Food's good. There's nothing fancy about the place, just tasty, well-made food.Don't pass on the sides and BE SURE TO GET THE CORN BREAD CAKES. You'll thank yourself.And the pies are GREAT. Very much Southern-level psweet, but still good.

While the prices are great, the interior is lacking a bit. Our table was kind of banged up and the carpet in the side dining room is very dirty/old. There is water damage on the ceilings although you almost can't tell because of the black ceiling tiles. The walls could use fresh paint. For the positives, I enjoyed the hometown nature of the restaurant as Miss Betty's is in downtown Park City and serves the needs of folks who have very few other options nearby. The food was fresh from the kitchen. They have all the classic southern food from great cornbread pancakes to green beans to hamburgers. The service was kind and attentive. The flavors were good. Even though I ordered a catfish daily special, they were kind enough to jazz it up to the Cajun catfish for the same price. There is free parking nearby. This is the kind of place where they will handwrite your receipt and make you feel at home.

Delicious home cooked meals prepared by Miss Betty and family and friends. Southern favorites in a quaint atmosphere. Come hungry for a great meal.

While visiting Mammoth Cave, we found a local gem at Miss Betty's! The food was all delicious, and so many homemade options that brought me back to childhood. Dessert selection was also amazing...homemade pies. The service was friendly and fast. We would definitely visit again!

This sweet little unassuming restaurant serves up delicious hot food for breakfast with excellent service. We liked it so much we went back the next day!
