Miller Transportation

Miller transportation is a bus compound that services the louisville area that is used from my experience on out of town or long field trips for schools, churches, sports teams, etc. I know over my lifespan I've rode on a few killer busses before but using my most recent example where I rode on one whole chaperoning my daughters 8th grade field trip to Saint Louis. Bus we weee on was a massive bus that had some nice leg room and room to stretch out. Bus featured plugs under each seat for charging purposes, your own little controlled air vent and a bathroom in the back. So plenty of comfort and the ability to stay prepared and charged up. The drive was really smooth both to and from Saint Louis and we never had to wait on the driver. Overall Miller is a nice option for church groups, private schools and clubs that may not have there own public transport buses. It's always a smooth and comfortable ride from my experience.

Miller Transportation sold me tickets from Paducah to Evansville where I transferred to Owensboro. They canceled my service 2 weeks after I bought tickets. The Evansville to Owensboro part of the trip was mysteriously added back this week. It costs more now. Watch your back with Miller. They're price gougers.

Ah Miller Transportation, what can I say except you guys really need to get your act together. Why Churchill downs would use such a crappy company for derby shuttles I do not understand. First of all, this isn't about the crowds, I understand that you can't help the 167000 people who attended the derby anywhere fast; however you can govern how you treat those who have paid you to get them to and from their cars. When we got picked up, the bus smelled and was burning hot. I don't know if the bus had a broken ac or if something else was going on. The temperature when we went to the downs was only 76 degrees so I can't imagine it was the weather. Next, the driver has very little control over the patrons. Cursing, loud music, and honestly total disregard for passenger comfort. While parking at the downs is cheaper it's a nightmare to get out of there and the shuttle is honestly the best bet, I wish they had just found a better company. The only reason this isn't a flat one star is that last year we had an ok experience with the shuttle company. So I'm hoping to chalk this up to a bad day, however many of the repeat Kentucky Derby attendees complained that this year was particularly bad..

The Miller Bus is very wonderful and great to ride on. My Nephew got on the Miller Bus last year to go to His Parents house for Christmas. He went to Evansville Kentucky to spend Christmas with them. The bus got there on time in Owensboro Transit System Station to pick him up. The Driver was very wonderful and great. Thanks.

This is a big shout out to our driver JR, he took our church group to noblesville and fishers indiana. He was awesome!! Our coach was so nice and clean. Thank you for a safe trip there and back!

I haven't even taken my tour yet, and already sure I won't sign up for another one thru them. Once they get your down payment, that's the last you will hear from them. They WILL NOT return your calls, you can not create an online account with them, you can not email them (they block your email). If you don't pay the balance of your trip by the deadline, they cancel you and keep your deposit. And I haven't managed to reach anyone for over a week to pay my balance. So overall, terrible!

t Wanderu.comWanderu.com is the online home of Wanderu, a company that says they are the simplest way to find and book bus and train travel between any two cities in the United States, and parts of Mexico and Canada. I booked a ticket from point A to point B through this company and the transportation company was Miller Transportation out of Louisville, KY.I had a legitimate ticket, paid for in advance, the bus simply did not show up. After arriving early and staying late. The bus only makes a stop once a day on Saturday/Sunday, It did not show up either day. I called 3 days in a row and got the runaround. 3 weeks ago today, still to call, apology, or refund from Miller Transportation. I will never use again.Would not even rate 1 star but had to post this review.

This is the second year that the Summit Church of Christ youth group has used Miller (and driver Ron!!), and they are top notch all the way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with a charter bus and plan to continue using them (and requesting Ron as our driver!) for years to come!

I was riding from Lafayette, Indiana to Chicago, IL on March 7, 2019. I was talking to a (black) young lady about racism. The bus stopped at a gas station and the driver came back and stated words I best remember as: "You must get off of the bus immediately. We do not allow derogatory talk about black people". I, and the young lady I was talking with protested that my conversation was not derogatory towards black people. I was not forced off of the bus. On March 8, 2019 I filed a complaint with the Miller Bus Company Mr. R. A. - took my complaint. He was negative towards me, when there was no need for it. I have received no response to my complaint including no response to both emails and phone calls as of 48 days after the complaint. NOTE: The bus said: "Greyhound" - but Greyhound says: "the driver was Miller, so it is Miller's issue" (and Mr. R.A. didn't respond to their inquiry either).
