A hole in the wall with AMAZING and authentic Mexican food! Hosts are very friendly and eager to please. Their tacos and burritos are good. But the chicken in green mole or the red mole sauce were outstanding with very flavorful, well marinated chicken that's falling off the bones. Served with rice and beans and generous serving of hot corn tortillas. One of the best Mexican foods we've eaten!!

Highly recommend stopping in to Mi Pueblo if you're ever in Winchester! I came for lunch with my family and we all love taquerias. I got 3 tacos - pastor and Barbacoa and both meats were delicious!! They bring out salsas to the table, red and green, in little squirt bottles. Both bottles were filled to the top and were super tasty. My parents tried the quesadilla. I've never had a quesadilla at an authentic Mexican restaurant such as this, but they enjoyed it, I tried a bite and it was delicious too. Just too cheesy for me. I'd stick with tacos. They have a full menu - next time I'll try a Torta. Can't wait to come back!

Okay this is my second time to visit Mi Pueblo and it was equally spectacular. For the cost it is some of the best authentic Latin food I've ever had.I got the tongue, lingua, taco and it was flavorful and tender. The red sauce had some bite. I also got the pork and Verde sauce, and it was out of this world! It came with rice and beans and the beans were excellent. I don't know how this place isn't busier!

This is a very authentic Mexican place. They are located in a rougher area on the outskirts of town, but it is completely worth the trip. They are a small eat in restaurant with a hand full of Mexican grocery items and drinks. The owner is usually working and extremely helpful and friendly. They speak both English and Spanish here. I ventured here for authentic tacos without having to travel to Lexington and so glad I did. They have a picture board menu mounted on the wall to help you place your order with both English and Spanish wording on it. I find that super handy so it looks like I know what I want when I say "Quiero" BLAH. LOL. It makes me feel fancy and smart. The sell tacos, burritos, tortas, whole fish, and anything else that is authentic Mexican with a twist on some items for the locals, if you will.I had tacos steak (asada), pork (pastor), beef tongue (lengua). They were all cooked to perfection and came with a side of red and green salsa. Just enough heat with some lime wedges to give that pop of needed acid. I also bought tamarind candy and soda. One of the few places in Winchester in general to buy tamarind anything. If you are in the area and want some great mexican food, stop on in and have a bite. Its so good and off the beaten path.

Delicious and authentic Mexican in an unassuming storefront. We had tacos and quesadillas. The pastor pork was nicely marinated and grilled. The red and green sauces were spicy and fresh. Very reasonably priced and worth a visit.

You would drive past and not give this place a second glance if you were not specifically looking for it. It is a hole in the wall so to speak that is also park of a small grocery variety as well, and the workers are very friendly. The food is amazing and from what I can tell authentic, and is very reasonably priced for the quality that you get. I am still trying to find my favorite item, but it is tough when each item is delicious. The tacos are fun because you can mix and match the fillings you want (there are about 6 different meat options) and enjoy the variety with fresh cilantro and onions on top of each. For drinks you can just walk into the grocery section and pick up a beverage. I highly recommend that you try Mi Pueblo, even if the area might not be in your comfort zone, you will feel welcomed inside.

Delicious authentic Mexican! They definitely put a twist on some dishes to appease the American palate, but the ingredients and preparation are still authentic in my opinion. Best burrito I've ever had? It's very possible. And I eat a lot of burritos. Like, a loooot of burritos. So I'm kind of a burrito connoisseur, and I can confirm this is an awesome burrito. The Gorditas and tacos were top shelf as well. What I'm trying to say is you should eat here.

Food is amazing. Authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex. The shrimp Diablo was fantastic. Perfectly spicy. The hot sauce made on sight is some of the best I have ever tasted. Beef torta was great. It is a hole in the wall in terms of decor, but 5 stars for the food, service, and staff.
