So, SO good. The best tacos I've had in Kentucky, comparable even to the taco trucks I've had in California. I highly recommend the al pastor for people who love flavorful food with a kick.The food service was also very quick and the people at the store were very nice. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back again.

Stopped in for lunch today and found some AMAZING Mexican food! Very authentic, super friendly people, and some of the best tacos I've ever had. I ordered an al pastor tostada, a chicken taco, a steak taco and an al pastor taco. It was a bit too much food for lunch, but I ate it all because it was so delicious!!! They bring out the squirt-bottle red and green salsas, and they were great. I poured salsa all over my tostada and tacos. I probably went thru like a half of a bottle, the green was especially good. Sadly I'm moving away from the area but if I'm ever back in town I will definitely come back. I highly recommend it.

Ok, this is Richmonds best kept secret. Of you want legit Mexican cuisine, this is it. Hidden in the back of a small grocery store is 6 tables and a counter setup for a restaurant. The tacos are legit, nothing Americanized here, this is real Mexican tacos and food. Best burritos I've ever had. Most everyone is Spanish speaking... however they are super friendly and will help and use English for non-spanish speaking folk. If you want real authentic Mexican cuisine this is were you go.

I'm a self proclaimed taco junkie who's traveled to central Mexico and eaten at 100's of taco trucks on the boarder and up/down the California coast. So when I saw this place on yelp, I just had to give them a try. I kept it simple and ordered two pastor tacos with grilled and raw onion, sliced lime and a little verde sauce. The tacos come with sliced radish (very traditional). Tip-walk to the very back to order and pay at the counter located half way inside. I got mine to go. Aside from the tortilla being a little too soft/wet (likely my fault due to the to go option)... the tacos were Simple Perfection! I could do a dozen of these with a few cold beers! The staff was very kind. Worth staying and eating if you have time. So, if your in the market for two buck taco's, give this place a try. I'll come back and yelp about another dish next time I'm here.

I really wanted to try this place because of the reviews. So let me preface this by saying, I didn't actually eat here and this is why..... gnats! Everywhere! I sat, ordered water, and was so distracted by the gnats, I couldn't imagine eating their food. Since ghats thrive on moisture and rotting organic matter, I simply chose to leave. Hopefully a good cleaning and this would all be rectified.

Love this place! i've went in before and got some snacks, today i decided to stop by the restaurant section of the store. the tacos were delicious. the atmosphere of the whole store is great, the staff is the best, made sure everything was great, they're just so kind i can't even put it into words. they make me feel very welcomed. wether you want to go for groceries or food, i'd definitely recommend Mi Pueblo!

Great service and best Mexican food in Richmond! A wide variety of choices, love the enchiladas and burrito California. We also love the pollo bandido with fajita vegetables.

Very good tacos and friendly people. I've eaten here several times and enjoyed the tacos every time. I will be back.

I'm new to richmond. I just moved from houston TX & this place made me feel like i was back home. food was great, ladies working were super friendly. the store attached was also nice!
