I went with a large group of people, and our server hit it out of the park! She did a great job managing requests and accommodating to people as they needed adjustments. She was attentive throughout the two hours we were there. My dinner was the enchilada rancheras, three cheese enchiladas with pork and veggies. It was so good! I had plenty left for seconds another day. The chips and salsa were very good as well, and I was able to try someone else's guacamole, and let me just say, that was the best guac I've had in a long time! The restaurant was easy to get to, the parking was a little tight, so just be mindful, and the building itself was an enjoyable, cozy space.

I want to start by saying I am from Nayarit myself and have been wanting to try the restaurant for a while. The inside is so beautifully decorated and it did remind me of restaurant in Nayarit.We were seated right away; there did not seem to be a lot of people.However, the service was not the best... perhaps it was the waiter we had because the rest of the staff seemed to be very attentive.We waited for a long time for refills and our check was very late after we finish eating. Other servers came to do the job for a bit because the original waitress was nowhere to be found, which I appreciate.My husband said his carne asada steak did not have flavor and I didn't believe it but when I took a bite, it really had no flavor... my steak tacos did have a lot of flavor so that was confusing.They also had a clown walking around which was... odd but I am unsure if this is a common occurrence or just a one time thing (there were a lot of kids).Overall, I give it an 8/10. Definitely need to try them again.

At first, I was inclined to rate this place 4 stars, but recent visits have left me hesitant about returning. While the food consistently impresses, the service has been consistently lacking.While live music can be enjoyable, it's less so when it's played so loudly that it disrupts the dining experience or when musicians approach tables for tips without considering the diners' preferences or comfort.Onto the service experience. On one occasion, despite arriving well before closing, we struggled to get any attention as the staff began closing down the restaurant early, as they were having a slow day. This left us feeling unwelcome.Our LAST experience, we arrived 40minutes before they closed, not realizing the time. We are seated and immediately the server asked for our order, since we've JUST sat down, we ask for a minute. The server was VERY rude about this. ALL of the restaurant staff was staring at us and clearly giving dirty looks. (keeping in mind there are several people still in the restaurant and we don't intend to stay long). We apologize and tell them we didn't realize they were closing in 40min and tell them we are leaving. One guy tells us no it's fine, there's plenty of time. The staring and dirty looks continue, and the rude behavior persists so, of course, our mood is very tense and uncomfortable and pretty upset with this behavior so, we left without ordering.It's unfortunate that such behavior tarnishes what could otherwise be an enjoyable dining experience, particularly considering the quality of the food, although the prices are on the higher side for Mexican cuisine. In my opinion, if the establishment prefers not to serve customers close to closing time, it would be more appropriate to adjust their closing hours rather than resorting to passive-aggressive behavior.

I've been on the search for great Mexican food after living in California for many years..if you judge by outside appearances this place seemed excitingly hopeful.The hospitality here was noticeable from the time we walked in and walked out. Our server was attentive and thoughtful. Ordered a combo tamale & chile relleno..I might be wrong but my thoughts: are the refried beans & tamale canned from Sysco? and the chile relleno was it left over from the extended three day weekend? the table was dirty..not visually but you could feel it ..The "manager" (?) was following behind the server and micro managing the servers job..not sure why because the server was doing his job sufficiently...to be sure the "manager" wasn't taking his tip we handed that to him personally.My search continues but Lexington doesn't seem to be a "foodie" town

While passing through Lexington, we used Yelp reviews to find a Mexican Restaurant. This place immediately sounded like fun. We were seated immediately in the patio area. It was a bit loud by the street. The place was well decorated and the music was on point. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Our food came out fast and hot.

We decided to try them for lunch on a Saturday. There are three dining rooms each with five large screens. Our chip & salsa arrived with our drink orders. Immediately after placing our orders we were blessed with a complimentary Chicken Soup. This chicken soup was AWESOME! The broth was super delicious. I could have ordered a bowl and ate it for lunch and be filled up. Just in case I'm not being clear, we both LOVED their chicken soup.So she orders the Crispy Chimichanga and was presented with a huge portion. The chimichanga was light and loaded with chicken and peppers, covered in a cream queso sauce. The serving was enough for two so sharing would be a good option. There was a little kick but with the beans and sour cream, the heat was just right.I ordered the Enchiladas Rancheras which consisted of three cheese enchiladas topped with shredded pork, tomatoes, onions and enchilada sauce. I also ordered the Mexican Rice and Refried Beans a la carte. The toppings seemed to overwhelm the enchiladas because there was too much of it. The toppings were excellent but sorta drowned the enchiladas. Still all was good and I took the leftovers home for later. The rice and beans were perfect too.

Super fast service and the salsa is really good!! The large margarita is HUGE, the portions are big, and the fried ice cream is awesome!! Our server was very sweet and went above and beyond our expectations! We will definitely be back! We also really enjoyed the environment and the live music.
