Mi Hacienda is a great spot for lunch or dinner in this area. The restaurant options in the area are fairly limited, and this is one of the only spots where you can sit down for a meal, so I definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a nice dinner option. Plus, this spot has a full bar! That's not something you'll find anywhere else in the area, so it's really your best option if you're looking to have a cocktail or beer with your meal. If you're in the area, and looking for a lunch or dinner spot, I definitely recommend Mi Hacienda!

I eat here on occasion. Being a native Texan, I have to get my Mexican fix. If I don't have time to prepare it myself I will come here. As far as Mexican restaurants in Kentucky goes, its OK. I usually order the taco salad fajita (in the picture) or just a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Both are fine. I am not a fan of their salsa. They use canned tomatoes and they aren't chopped up very well. They need to either use fresh or diced from the can. Their most popular entree is probably the Pollo Loco. I have never had it but many of my friends order it regularly. If you don't want to travel for better, this restaurant will suffice.

It's the only Mexican place in Magoffin County. So not much to choose from (other than the new Taco Bell). That said, it's pretty darn good. Service is prompt, the food is good, and the atmosphere is great. My personal favorite is the Pollo Loco. My wife absolutely loves the Fajitas. Take your pic, because it's all good.

I've been here a few times, only by default or because it was the only decent place in the area. It's never very busy... the times that I've been there.Service was ok, consists of mostly native Mexican males who only speak broke English to you and Spanish behind your back. I speak very little Spanish but I know that when I sent my cheese dip back because it wasn't warm, one said to another (the Spanish) that I was crazy. Today I ordered the lunch nachos and asked for no beef but they arrived with chicken, shrimp and beef. Because I ordered my cheese dip on the side, it looked quite plain. The waiter had asked if I wanted veggies at the time that I ordered and I said yes. The veggies, which gave the nachos an extra pep, didn't arrived until I was almost finished eating. Overall, it's ok place. I would recommend driving a bit out to Paintsville to find somewhere there to eat.

Food was served quickly, everyone was very happy with their meal, and portions were very generous for a great price. Only 4 stars because service could have been a little better, but I'm very glad we stopped. The food really hit the spot!

Worst place ever to eat. The food was disgusting and the price was rediculously high. They even took it upon themselves to tip themselves almost $30

A picture says a 1000 words but I'll add a few more. What kind of Mexican restaurant sells street tacos but doesn't have cilantro?
