Mi Casita Shelbyville

Decent Mexican food restaurant. Came here for lunch on business and I ordered the enchilada. The portion size of rice and beans were great. The enchilada (chicken) seemed to look very thin. Everything was tasty though.The only suggestion I would have is to update the restroom. The sink in the bathroom uses handles to turn on and off the faucet. It is great that they have a sensor towel dispenser so one does not have to touch anything; however, having to touch faucet handles after one washes their hands kind of defeats the purpose of washing to clean ones hands. I would also suggest that the soap dispenser also be sensor; however, the faucet should definitely be sensor.

Food is super yummy. Service was excellent. Ambiance is relax very nice music in the background - not too loud.

First time ordering online and having it delivered.I don't think we will try that again. My wife's order was chicken burrito with rice and beans it was missing the rice me beans. While I went with the steak fajitas it was missing all my sides that comes with it. We also decided to try their caso and churros. We will have to try this in person to see if it's better being inside.

After a girl's nail day, I decided to check out this Mexican Restaurant. It's snug as a bug in the shopping plaza by Planet Fitness in Shelbyville. Shelbyville has a multitude of Mexican restaurants and I honestly didn't have high hopes. It was fantastic!!!!Mi Casita has THE best chips & salsa!!! Seriously, THE best. I ate the whole basket. They were fresh, crispy and delicious. Mi Casita has an extensive menu with unique items you can't find in this area. The environment was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly, quick and super nice. I ordered a margarita on the rocks, so refreshing. They have a lunch and dinner menu. My food was amazing!!! Fajita Quesadilla didn't disappoint. I enjoyed every bite! Give it a shot, you'll be glad ya stopped in.

The staff is always friendly and the food is good. I would say it's the best Mexican restaurant here in Shelbyville. I definitely recommend and they have live music on Fridays. Fast service and great atmosphere.

Lunch service was quick and food was all very good. Offers a good variety and keeps the chips and drink coming. Great place.

Love this place. Great service and great staff. Covered patio to bring your pet and they'll accommodate a kids menu for whatever you need.

Typical Mexican restaurant and menu options. Food always comes out fresh and well made. Has really good black beans. Taco El Pastor are amazing! Servers are always nice. Typically a packed house on weekend nights.

We eat Mexican 1-3X a week at different places so wanted to wait until we had eaten here a few time before writing a review. This place is by far our favorite ever. The staff is super friendly, margaritas are delicious and usually we get a 22 oz for $6.50. Worth every penny for the drink and food. The food is great and they have dishes not offered at any other place we have visited. We live @40 minutes away and have no issue driving here. The only snag we have ever had is a small language barrier that only occurred once and we take all the blame on that one time. It is authentic and well worth the trip.

Food is always very good, one of the best in the area. But charging $33 (pre tip) for two jumbo margaritas was unexpected. They should have offered that detail ahead of time when they suggested the jumbo. I will not be going back.
