Deliciously prepared. Just moved to the area from San Diego, CA and have been craving Mexican food and was a little hesitant to try it in the area. Friends who are locals have recommended this restaurant so frequently and I just had to see what the hype was about.I must say, I was very impressed with how great the food was. From interior decor, customer service and delicious food- my entire experience with this restaurant left me at a loss for words and if it weren't for me already being stuffed from this plate, I'd love to have just sat there and enjoyed every single meal Mi Camino Real has to offer.Thanks to this restaurant, I know where to go when I'm feeling homesick.

Thought this was the best Mexican restaurant in our area until I tried El Caminate.Food down the hill is cheaper and you get way more plus it tastes way better than Mi Camino's.Service is great here but biting into something crunchy and weird tasting while eating chicken maxi after they had multiple complaints over bugs and hearing my buddy tell me about roaches crawling on window seals and a table is enough to turn me away from good.

Excellent food, service, and surroundings. Good prices chips are hot and fresh and the salsa is just right.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, keep looking. This isn't the place. The cheese dip and salsa were the best part of the meal. No flavor, no spices, quite shallow and pedantic. It would probably be an insult to Taco Bell if I were to rank it at the same level. Positives include amazing decor, very friendly staff and fast service. The restaurant was clean and offered hand sanitizer stations. If you enjoy a more Americanized version of Mexican food then you will like it.

I have come to Mi Camino Real every time I have visited Maysville for the last 4 years.It goes without saying that is because it has been consistently great food and great serviceMy go to is always the beef chimichanga ( their beef is amazingly seasoned!) smothered in Queso, side that with rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream!The unlimited chips and salsa are also phenomenal and made in house!Price is on par with what you get on your plate, I feel.Parking is easy as it is in a shopping plazaThe reason for the 4 stars over 5 is due to the fact that it sometimes is inconsistent with the portions, some chimichangas are gigantic, some are child portions it's odd but has been consistent every year I have cake, I usually eat here 2-3 times during my visit. Apart from that give this place a shot and you will not regret it!

The food always taste great great margaritas. The waiters and waitresses are amazing. Restaurant is always clean. Highly recommend.

FOH manager was very rude, I don't submit reviews but there's no business email to write to. She was incredibly condescending and made the rest of my time there very uncomfortable, it's sad to say I won't be back after eating in at this location and the mt Orab location for years. The chips were as cold and stale as her attitude.

Would not recommend this place. Placed order with Jacqueline answering the phone. She was not friendly, both on the phone and during pick up. When I walked in, she was actually sitting down at the table and chewing food as she started talking to me. I was told my food would be ready in 10 minutes after I had placed my order on the phone. I was there in five minutes to pick it up. This place does not give you an itemized receipt for anything. It's obvious why. While I was there last week, I saw an older gentleman counting cash, and had it spread completely across the counter at the register. You can see by the photos, the receipt has no business name, what you actually ordered or anything on it. I Requested a packet or a small container of hot sauce, because in the past, their food has no flavor. She said it would cost me $1.25, but if I ate there, it would be free. I let her know that was Mickey Mouse and asked for her name. I told her it was the principal of the matter, and I was going to put this interaction online for other customers to see the way they do business. It's really like ordering french fries, then having to pay for ketchup packets. So cheesy. She gave me her name two times after that without me offering, I believe as a way to let me know she didn't care if I put it on social media or not. I also told her that every time I've eaten there I've always gotten a little hot sauce on the side and was never charged $1.25. You can see the receipts doesn't even have the name of the business, telephone number on it or anything. I watched her interactions with others, and she was not friendly, unless someone spoke to her. Not a smile, nothing. here's the review Jacqueline, that you asked for. Note:, I had to wait about 15 minutes in the lobby for the food and pulled into the parking lot to eat it. It was cold and obvious that it sat in the back, instead of giving it to me, while it was hot. I didn't call and complain because I figure if she's going to charge me $1.25 for a little tiny cup of hot sauce, they would not remake my order, and make it hot this time. After reading other review about roaches and the lack of cleanliness in the back kitchen, I probably will never eat here again. Also, I had to ask for napkins, I figured they were probably going to charge me for that, too. Avoid this business at all cost. I have also eaten at the Mexican place at the bottom of the hill in town, and the other person that wrote a review was correct. They do give you a lot more for your money and it's actually less expensive. I would avoid this particular restaurant that I'm complaining about and save yourself some time and heartache. It's sad, but Customer Service has gone out the window. Peace.
