This place was pretty good! We were in the area looking for some dinner, and this place stuck out like a sore thumb. I had a molcajete type plate at another Mexican restaurant, and I was excited to try this place's iteration of it. It was pretty decent with tons of meat. So much that I couldn't finish, and my husband was happy to pick off my plate and then also the leftovers we took home. But I do love the experience of getting the food in the sizzling hot stone. I especially love the little bits of cheese that get melted onto the stone. The atmosphere and food are those of your typical Mexican restaurant. Come check it out and try a new dish!

While traveling through the area, my party of 3 stopped here for dinner. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken. The staff was very friendly and attentive during the entire visit. On first glance, the place was nicely decorated and very colorful. We were seated at a booth, where one of the vinyl seat covers was discovered to be in shreds. When my friend commented on it, the waitress apologized and commented "I don't know why they won't fix that". My friend chose to remain in the seat, and after looking around, we noticed that many seats were the same. This would have been uncomfortable on bare legs. Chips and salsa were presented. The salsa was not bad , but wasn't good either. It was very thin, and tasted commercial. Our orders were brought out in less than 10 minutes and weren't very hot. I asked for shredded chicken quesadilla with verde sauce, ala carte. It arrived barely warm, and without the sauce. When I asked for sauce, I was handed a neon green, bottled version. It was disgusting and I scraped it off after the first bite. The quesadilla was large, and the chicken was mostly chunky. There was nothing else on it. It was edible, and I was hungry. The other 2 people in my party ordered different entrees. The 18yo ordered a beef burrito. He will usually will anything, and ate this. But he complained that the ground beef had no flavor at all. There were beans, lettuce, sour cream, and a slice of tomato on top of the burrito. He tasted the beans and wouldn't eat any of it. The third member of our party ordered a beef chimichanga plate, and was equally disappointed. As I said , we were traveling and hungry. It was edible, but just. Lastly, my check was separate. For my less than $7, ala carte meal, I was charged $79 and change. The cashier asked if I liked the fresh salmon. Obviously, this was caught and corrected.

My wife and I decided to get the fajitas for two with chicken and steak. It was fabulous! The photo is after we already ate and that's what we had left over. You will definitely get your fill!

We actually came here after trying another local restaurant first. It just wasn't for us. We hopped on Yelp and looked for another new place to try. There was a restaurant similar to this one closer to us - luckily the reviews steered us clear. We quickly found this place and got parked. Walking in and it was packed! But they were still able to seat us immediately. The cheese dip was a little thinner than we are use to. But still very good. The food came out hot and delicious. The server and food runners were all staying super busy. Our drinks never ran empty either. The food was great. We will definitely return and recommend.

This is is solid, good Mexican restaurant in a town without a lot of choices. Of course, I had the burrito, my wife had a chimichanga. Burrito is what I always get!The chips were okay, but not as fresh as I'd like. The salsa was excellent! Why can't you get that kind of runny/cilantro salsa at the grocery? Sorry, I digress. The main dishes were fine, but not notable. They had good flavor and they were served at the right moment. Sometimes you get the feeling that the rice & beans were plated a long time ago, but not at Mi Camino Real.I think the best part of the experience was the atmosphere of the place. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait. A lively, Friday night crowd kept the place full and energetic. The room was very bright and things were well-staffed.

Pretty good Mexican. I am usually a stickler about salsa, but theirs is very flavorful. My favorite Mexican dish has a yummy variation here - bacon. It's the Pollo Mi Camino which is grilled chicken covered in cheese sauce and topped with bacon. The staff checks in your frequently, even those not in charge of your table.

The service was great. All employees were friendly. Then came the food. I am not a fan of queso dip. I did try it. It seemed runny and yuck, but again I am not a fan. I ordered the chili relleno and what is inside? Queso running out of the chili. In most places a chunk of cheese is inside the chile. It melts but does not have the plastic taste this queso had. My taco was supposed to be chicken, it was ground beef. In fact all people that got beef had ground beef not carne asada. The flavors were ok, but nothing to go back for.
