Everyone deserves to sit with a glass or 2013 Norton and enjoy a sunset. Dinner, wine and sunsets are a norm at Meranda-Nixon.

This is a gem if you want to make the drive. Being from the east side, it is only about a half-hour drive for me.Now, as I have stated before, I am not a drinker, but I do appreciate the process and will do a taste from time to time. So, believe me when I say these folks know how to make some VERY good wines.I held a dinner meeting here. I was expecting a buffet style, but to my pleasant surprise, they served all of us individually with great care. The ambiance was very casual and relaxed and made the meeting flow quite nicely. Now, back to the wines. They have a blended red with bourbon barrel aging that is dynamite (remember non-drinker here). Each of their wines are grown and made there. Because of this, the craftsmanship and care really shine through. I tried (a sip for me) of an unoaked Chardonnay, and that was really good as well. They have outdoor seating and it would be a great way to spend a weekend evening. So, make the drive east and find this gem and discover it for yourself.

My first time here was not the best, due to unfortunate circumstances. NOTHING to do with the winery. My husband and I like the Traminette very much. I will definitely come back, and I am sure I will be much happier the next time.

We had a fabulous visit here. The wine selection is quite good, and we were able to find several good enough to take bottles home. The owners were wonderful! We were offered tours of the vineyard and the fermenting rooms (we took them up on both). We will make a point to return.

Aprox 15 "of us" went for a Saturday steak night. Usually everyone cooks their own main course ...chicken steak etc. But since we had a large party. .they cooked them for us. Steak were cooked correct to order. Tasted aprox 4 various wines and a good product were all. Dinning can be inside or out. Will go back soon. Great to support the local community and business person.

I love visiting a winery with personable owners and this one definitely fits the bill! Maura and Seth are welcoming and treat you like family. Most importantly, they make very good wine. And they serve it in a nice tasting room or you can choose their outdoor area. Having made it my personal mission to visit all of the wineries in Ohio, I can safely say this is one I will return to.
