We stopped by here as we were in Ironton and it's my moms favorite in town. To start with, the building itself is beautifully restored and is wonderful to look at during your meal. The waiters were all very friendly and we had plenty of refills and a heaping plate of breadsticks with marinara to start. I was going to do the spaghetti but I found the marinara sauce a bit bitter. I didn't want to run the risk of having an entire plate to contend with of it, so I did an order of bruschetta for lunch. The portion sizes are very large and everyone else enjoyed their meal.

Service was friendly but sparse. We were not asked about drink refills and only saw waitress to ask about dessert once initial order was served. The food was good and plentiful.

I love the food here, I don't think I've ever been disappointed with what I have ordered. The service is just so-so though, I have been here and had great service and I have been here and had horrible service. My latest visit here unfortunately was the latter, we sat and waited a long time for anyone to take our order. Every time a server was close we would get their attention and received the same response, "we'll get you in just a moment". When we started to leave a waitress came over and apologized so we did finally order. Our food was good but no one ever checked back on us for refills or to see if everything was okay. After we ate still no one came to bring a check, I finally went up to the cashiers area and paid there. As I said the food is always good and the building is very cool, it has a 1930's look and it's pretty neat to look at the old architecture. All in all the food is great, the service can be but it can be pretty bad.

great food for the area, for Italian food in the area this is it, beats olive garden all day, long like any other place. It depends on the time a day in the cook, but even with DoorDash and whatever else that delivers it, it's raining with me. I'm not household.

I'll never come back again. I came into town to have dinner with 10 other family members that we never get to see since we live across the country. The server was good, food was good for the tri-state, I've had much better in my hometown. I booked the back room for 12 and during this time they booked a boys soccer team. So obviously we can't have any conversations. I went to bring this up to the manager Manuel, and he dismissed my topic of discussion as he was eating behind the counter. Pretty rude in my opinion!
