McKinley's Cafe

Great new find in the heart of downtown Shelbyville! Love the sandwich choices and the soup of the day was outstanding...creamy chicken and rice. Service and atmosphere was outstanding. Great table by the window to watch the traffic pass by! Can't wait to come back.

Pineapple salad during lunch was absolutely out of this world amazing. Look forward to returning soon and trying this again!

McKinley's is a very solid deli/lunch spot. I had the Reuben Panini which was very good, I don't think I've ever had a pressed Reuben before. I also ordered a bag of Sun Chips, Garden Salsa, and a chocolate chip cookie. While I was sitting waiting for my order to be made I saw a Butter Pecan Toffee cookie in the case and decided at the last minute to do a cookie switch. The food prep didn't take long and the prices were reasonable so I plan on returning to McKinley's.

Stopped in here while exploring the outskirts of Louisville. Downtown Shelbyville is super cute and this cafe is a gem! We had four different sandwiches, all excellent. The potato salad was top notch. Do NOT forget to order a chess bar for dessert - I need more .

Great mom and pop sandwich shop. It is a little pricey but what isn't these days and you're doing business with a locally owned business.

I was traveling from Bardstown, KY to Henry County, Kentucky for soccer. I knew I needed to eat at some point on this trip. When I hit Shelbyville I looked up sandwich/deli shops and McKinley's popped up. Instead of going to a chain like Jersey Mike's, I opted to go local and I'm glad I did.I got the 615 sandwich and pasta salad. The 615 has all the meats & veggies with a chipotle mayo. Very good sandwich. I only was able to eat 1/2 and I'll enjoy the other half later in the day.Staff was friendly & it wasn't ridiculously expensive either. They could probably up their prices if they really wanted too. I'm glad they don't. But quality food and sandwich.

Terrific little cafe in the center of Downtown Shelbyville. The sandwiches are always terrific . I highly recommend this place - only down side is that they close at 2:00

Food was good, the service was good, and ambiance was laid-back. The aioli was good on the spicy roast beef, but the potato salad was a little underwhelming. Overall, a nice little place to grab a quick bite.
