Absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly!!! I had a massive order and it didn't even phase them, they even carried it to my car.

Good, affordable Chinese food. Quick service and if you're in the mall or nearby, this is a great place to stop by but it's the most popular in the food court so prepare for a long line.

Located inside the Jefferson Mall, this establishment offers very large portions for really decent prices. Most meals are between $10-$14 dollars and I always get two meals out of it because they truly pack the to-go container so full.With my food restrictions the only dish I am able to order is the Shrimp with Vegetables (it has a white sauce that does not contain soy sauce, since soy sauce has gluten I am unable to have it) with steamed rice. I have been here with other people as well, they have enjoyed the Orange Chicken, Crab Rangoon, and many other dishes and everyone always ends up with delicious food and plenty of it!

This place is in the Louisville Chinese food hall of fame. There's a reason the line here can get so big, it snakes through half the food court at Jefferson mall. You get big portions for a good price. The staff is very friendly as well. Shoutout to Steve, Bertha, Jackie and Paola for holding it down when there's 40 people in front of them asking for Peking chicken. Literally all the food here is good, from the main entrees to the side items. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping in the mall only for max orient. I have no other reason to visit Jefferson mall lol. Thanks for keeping our bellies full guys

The local legend of "sample sample" Chinese food. Literally the only reason to go to the Jefferson mall anymore. Big portions and great prices. My favorite noodles by far. Also huge fan of jalapeño chicken.

Always fresh! So much food for the best price! One of the best in Louisville! Clean, friendly, hands down a good deal and very very tasty!!! They are following all COVID-19 recommendations!

Peking and Bourbon chicken with noodles were top notch!! Was cooked to a nice crisp and delicious! Also had the Louisiana chicken and that had a good flavour and spice.. yum yum 5 star all day!

Bourbon chicken and rice!!! Amazing and hot and fresh every time! Especially delicious when they put the bourbon chicken & sauce on top of the rice!!!

Long live Max Orient!The only reason one would venture to the Jefferson mall tbh, and probably the only reason they are still in business.

Peaking chicken will never get old. Always a favorite . Staff is always polite. I hope they never close!
