Went here for the Bluegrass Sheepdog trials. Great park: usually multiple events happening on summer weekends. There are plenty of trails for walking on (watch out for occasional horses). There was a nice area for overnight camping relating to the event. This is considered one of the best venues in terms of fields for sheepdog trials. Local food truck services were also exceptional.

Possibly the best dog park ever!!! I've been in the military for over 20 years and we have traveled with our dogs to all 13 moves. The amount of space is amazing and there is a second field that's essentially a large pasture. We have a German shorthair pointer and I rarely get to see her run with wild abandon and she was completely gassed when we left. A definite must for any and all dog owners!

They have a nice swingset playground they have a spot for the dogs to run around and do dog things. And it was enjoyable experience. It has really nice scenery nice trees nice flowers this is a nice little park for sure

Fun for the dog in the large fenced in track. This is one of the biggest dog parks I've seen. Also great park for the kids! Even some water play in the summer.

I visit this park a lot. It's the most scenic of all the dog park locations in Lexington. During my last visit, the mail park has been closed due to water pipe construction. There is an alternative location to visit in the meantime. This park is canvased by large mature trees providing shade throughout the area. There is a watering station at the far end of the park to refresh dogs.

Best dog park in Lexington. Nice, big trees provide shade for if it's too hot. Plenty of room for dogs to safely run around (it's a huge dog park, so you may have to chase your dog around for a while if they don't want to go home yet). The area is very well maintained. There are technically separate sections for big dogs/little dogs, however it seems people prefer the big dog side. If you have a small dog that's not good around big dogs, you'll feel safe on the small dog side. The only downside to the small dog section is that there aren't the big trees for shade. It's Great place to hang out and talk with other dog owners. Poop bags are available at the entrance, but it's good to bring some extra in case they run out. My only complaint is that the water station is on the far end of the dog park. Like I said, it's a huge park, so it's a good walk to get to the water for your pup. But I guess if your dog is getting exercise, you might as well get some too?

Love this dog park! It is very well kept and the owners are friendly and keep an eye on/clean up after their pet! This dog park doesn't seem to be as crowded as some of the others. My two love going here and we visit here pretty regularly!

This is a fairly elaborate playground. Because it is 7 years old, some things are not working. Because there is so much to do, it is still one of the best places to visit. The spinning cup and standing spinner do appear to need repairs. And a large blue board has been installed by the city to keep kids out of the sway boat. But if you have a two year old, she will find a way to squeeze herself onto it. This is amazing playground equipment and I hope the city will eventually repair or replace these individual items. Additionally several parts of the tan tunnel slides really need a good pressure wash. The splash pad right next to the playground is only two years old and seems to be operating at peak efficiency.

The park is accessible and well maintained. We met friends from out of town who needed a place for their dog to have freedom and our daughter enjoyed the playground close by. There are two sections of the dog park area with a lobby like area before entering each. There was good parking and portable toilet, though I recommend using the playground toilets as it's a building and more usual arrangement.
