Massage Strong

So, Massage Strong is dead to me. I love the massage therapists and they do great work, but the business practices are terrible. This is a place setup for more therapeutic active/sports treatments. Their therapists are why they still get 2-stars. I recommended the person I work with to wife and she had a good experience, so I got her a gift card for her birthday. They rotate staff at the desks, so they often aren't there and push you to buy online. I went in twice to try and do it in person so I could get a physical card. Alas, I bought online and went back in to get a card which I finally got. Upon leaving, they text and say she can't use it because I bought it "on my account". It's tough when forced to buy online to then be told your money is no good the way you spent it. They advised they could cancel and I could buy again on her account. I advised that if we cancel, then I won't repurchase. So, they did correct that with a number of texts and frustrations, which I appreciated.I had an appointment today to help with chronic bicep tendinitis, but it overlaps with my annual dermatology appointment for skin cancer screening. I called and texted yesterday about 22hrs prior to the appointment and heard nothing. They messaged today and said I would have to pay because of their 24hr policy. The therapist had no other times today. The person then messages, "well, can you change the other appointment"? It's cancer screening, that's more important, so no. They then tell me I will have to pay for today. They then message me that my card was declined(cancelled due to fraud). I advised that I would go by today and pay, but they wouldn't need my card anymore after that and not willing to pay over text. They then say, "with rotating staffing, we aren't there today, so you will have to go another day." So, now I can't even pay my fine without extra effort and inconvenience on my part. I also work in the ED the rest of the week, so can't go in if I wanted to during their limited staffing hours. Summary...awful business structure, desk staffing, and service recovery. A charge today will like result in thousands of lost opportunity dollars from me down the road.

This is such a great place for a massage! I've never had a bad massage and some of my sessions have been more effective than long term PT! Great staff, love that they run special promotions, and the staff is so friendly.

I have piriformis syndrome, and while a massage with Ty at the Lexington location, in addition to PT, got it under control in March, I overworked the muscle and it flared up again. Only much, much worse. I saw Samantha at the Brannon Crossing site, and her massage gave me instant relief. She was truly a godsend, I'd been in pain for several weeks but had family in from out of the country and was trying to just power through. Thank you Samantha!A couple days later I got another massage at the Lexington site with Ty, and she was able to complete the healing Samantha started. I am truly grateful to both of them, and to Massage Strong. I knew when I first had symptoms that I would turn to them for help when I could.I highly recommend this facility, Ty in Lexington, and Samantha in Nicholasville, both did me a solid!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and was in desperate need of a prenatal massage. This location was recommended and I managed to get in thanks to a cancellation. I booked the 90 minute session and am so grateful I did. The session was very relaxing and the pressure used was perfect. I would definitely recommend this location for massages.

Good service and facility. Katie was a very good masseuse. They occasionally offer discounts so get on there mailing list.

Such excellent service. There were three of us and we went as a special belated bridal shower gift for my best friends granddaughter. What a very special day it was. We were greeted by the friendly and professional staff who were all ready for us. We can't wait to return over and over. We all highly recommend them snd thank them for making this a great activity and gift for the bride.

I've had several massages throughout my life including one at this location in the past. This was probably one of the worst massages I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend it. I also thought it was very unprofessional for the massage therapist to check you out and stand over you while you pay - I felt pressure to leave a tip and was uncomfortable.

scheduling is an ease. The massage therapist is more knowledgeable and accommodating than any other I've had.

Very clean and welcoming. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable. I see Josh once a month and he is amazing. He explains what is wrong and how he can help me and takes time to make sure I am comfortable. I have been going once a month for almost a year and couldn't do without it! So glad I found them and Josh!
