Martine's Pastries

Tiramisu is out of this world! The staff is friendly, restaurant is clean, and there's plenty of space. I think this is the best bakery in the city. You can't rent their space, but they'll take care of your event food if you wish.

Recently visited Martine's for a quick dessert stop and immediately fell in love with the quirky selection of holiday cookies and gingerbread! In addition to truly remarkable desserts, Martine's features waffle specials on Saturday mornings and also offers a selection of French bistro-style food (soups, salad, sandwiches).Always a pleasure stopping in!

We gathered upstairs. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, but should have ordered the Madame with the egg on top as the Monsieur was rather dry. It was uncreatively slapped on the paper plate. A little laginappe would have been nice, some fruit perhaps. In retrospect, I should have just had a pastry.106

Martine's Pastries is the cutest little bakery, coffee, and lunch spot! They have a small parking lot (5-6 cars), but there is street parking in the neighborhood it's located in. I sat by one of the big windows to work a little bit while enjoying an iced macchiato and breakfast sandwich. The gentleman who took my order made some recommendations as this was my first time visiting Martine's! He sold me on the caramel macchiato which is made with *homemade* caramel sauce and it was lovely! Food-wise, I had the egg & scone sandwich which was delicious! I chose the bacon and cheese scone with a scrambled egg and it hit the spot. Somehow sweet and savory and salty all at once. I almost ordered something sweet, but decided I will definitely be back soon to try some of their bakery items!

I first was introduced to Marine's pistachio cake through Crank & Boom which sells an ice cream version. I purchased some of the cake to share with my family and friends. Man this stuff is beyond delicious. This bakery seems like a great place to try amazing cakes & pastries. I can't wait to return for breakfast soon.

This place was sooo cute! We were traveling through and I wanted a little area for breakfast. We got there about 11am. My fiancé got a salad and coffee , and I got a chocolate croissant, and a vanilla macaron. He liked his salad and it was very colorful as you can see. My croissant was VERY good and so was the macaron. So good that I went back up for a pistachio macaron, and then the next day before we left I got another croissant and vanilla macaron as well. Service was quick and both workers were very nice.Pricing was a little on the expensive side in my opinion, but they were good. 10/10 will be going again if I'm through the area

The local French bakery and cafe is a bit cramped, but does have an upstairs seating level for dining in. Their website promised waffle specials on Saturday, but I was a bit disappointed to find that there was only the basic waffle, as well as a couple of crepe options. The crepes I did get had a nice bit of candied orange in addition to some heavy cream, and delivered a subtle but satisfying flavor. A chai latte was likewise not punchy, but tasty.I didn't get any cakes, but I did see an interesting caramel cup kind of a thing; there weren't a ton of vegan options, but this was one and it was fantastic. I've also had their pistachio cake ice cream flavor at Crank and Boom. Compared to that, the bakery here is likely to be an occasional stop more than a regular addiction.

There's not much I can add to what has already been said in celebration of this fabulous local bakery. So, I'll just say this - please frequent this yummy gem of a spot so we never lose it. Coffee, lemon bars, cakes, cookies, lunch, whatever. Just go and but the goodies!

The food is so good here. The staff not so much. I'm convinced all staff must be treated badly. I've come here several times during the work week and weekend and each person who has waited on me at the register seems absolutely miserable. They are kind of rude and little patience. I won't be back after today. I can't take my money elsewhere and not feel like I'm inconveniencing the person at the register for coming in.

Our cakes were perfect. Thanks to Martines for their excellent work! Everyone enjoyed the cake. The grooms cake would have been better in Kentucky blue, but it was his cake.
