Here's a review for Maples Park in Crestwood, KY:---"Maples Park in Crestwood, KY, is a hidden gem! This park is the perfect spot for families, kids, or anyone looking for a peaceful outdoor escape. The walking trails are well-maintained, offering a great way to get some exercise while enjoying nature. There are plenty of open green spaces, which makes it ideal for picnics, playing catch, or just laying out on a blanket to relax. The playground is fantastic, with equipment suitable for a range of ages, and it's clear that the park is designed with kids in mind. They also host community events from time to time, which adds a nice touch of local spirit. Everything feels safe, clean, and welcoming.Whether you're there for a walk, a family outing, or just to unwind, Maples Park has something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!"

I have watched this park grow and develop. It is beautiful. What a charming theme and location. I walk this park daily and enjoy watching the children play on the imaginative playground with splash feature (a must for the hot days of summer). Additionally there are many events that I enjoy throughout the year!

This is a cute little historical site that has a playground, splash pad, trail, and historical buildings on site. This playground does have a restroom. It also has a covered picnic area. The playground was greatly enjoyed by my girls and their friends. So, big age range, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The favorite was the merry-go-round. I enjoyed how it also had chairs for the lils to sit in. They had enough swings, 2 baby and 1 special needs swing along with 3 regular swings. I enjoyed the plaques that explained the history of the place.

The park has really been upgraded especially for all the young children in the community. The park has added a Community Center with clean restrooms, a new Sprayground with 20 spray feature for use in the summer, a huge Farm-themed playground and a Playground Shade Pavilion. The restrooms may be closed because of cold weather but, the playground is a wonderful place to take young children. It will keep them busy for hours. An there are still the well maintained walking paths and the park is still Pet Friendly.Masks are still required as they are at all playgrounds and a 6 foot distance must be maintained from others until further notice.

Such a great little park with a splash area and play area! This summer heat is hot and muggy. Kids running around and playing then going to the water to cool off, so much fun! Big open spaces for walking enjoyment. Definitely happy this place is close by so we can visit often.

Have energetic children? Come to Maples Park! This park has saved me many times when my toddler needs to run around and get her energy out. It's a splashpark and a playground in Crestwood so it is fun for any season. There are also paved walking paths to take a stroller, covered seating and regular picnic tables. The park also has family movie nights and other events which we have not attended yet. The only issue I've encountered here is during the busy season parking can be limited so you have to drive a small distance for the other parking lot. It's not super convenient for small children but we make it work. We come here often and enjoy playing around and chatting with other parents. A nice, clean, fun park with many activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Great spash-park and playground. I know it is hard to find places for the kids to go so this makes the park a wonderful place for Oldham Co. The missing star is for the problem they have with daycare groups. It is a great resource but the care workers should actually MONITOR the kids they bring. Now this isn't a problem of the Park, but if they allow the large groups to come there should be some rules that the groups agree to follow and then the groups should be aware of the rules and follow them. It's pretty much mayhem - I saw one kid - a 9 yr old? - pee on the toddler tractor walkway so that his pee hit the other boy that was underneath the walkway. No One was Monitoring these kids! And I tried to say "Please don't do that, there are restrooms right there" to which the kid replied with a rude remark. Just one more reason we need to train our kids up to be responsible and respectful. The workers were 2 middle-aged ladies and a group of teens. The ladies were sitting in the shade and the teens were all hanging in a little cluster laughing and talking. Totally cool on your own time. All that to say that if you are going, you may want to check to see if a day-care group may be there that day. If not - head over and enjoy! Also - take a bag for your own trash as the cans may be full. That way you can help to keep the park nice! Way to go YOU for doing your part!
