Maple Street Biscuit - Lexington

Nice open seating, and you can see how the kitchen goes. Only two people the morning I went, but very nice and pretty fast. Lots of different biscuit options, and there's fun flavored coffees too! Ended up getting a basic sausage biscuit - Fluffy biscuit that doesn't quite fall apart but still crumbles a little, nice bit of sausage, and yummy egg. I got their maple drip coffee, which was nice, and with some extra maple simple syrup, it was just what I needed!

7/27/24 My husband and I came here for breakfast. We parked easily as this is in a plaza. This is the type of restaurant where you order before you receive your food. We ordered: the squawking goat and the eggs-treme shiitake biscuit and gravy with iced coffee. The food took about 30 minutes before we got it. The gravy was too greasy and my sandwich was overflowing, no way to be eaten like a sandwich. Utensils were definitely needed for the sandwich's here. The Shiitake gravy barely had any mushrooms in it, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall the staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. The food was underwhelming.

We visited MSB the morning of Father's Day around 9 am. It wasn't busy at all when we showed up, but was definitely getting busy as we left. This was our first visit but almost definitely won't be our last! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food came out before my toddler got impatient, which is always a plus! Everyone's food was great and we loved the bottomless coffee bar. The Smashbrowns were an absolute must. I recommend asking for a side of ranch because it pairs super well. The biscuit gravy is spicy. It was almost too spicy for me, but that's a personal preference. The restaurant has plenty of seating for groups, and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The only reason I deducted a star was because I felt like the kids meal was a little expensive for the portion size.

The have heard about this place and I love a good chicken biscuit. I know they are fairly new here, they must get organized with food expo. They have a lot of staff behind the counter doing nothing. I do like you can your food being made, but it's so disorganized. I ordered a basic chicken and it took over 20 minutes to receive my order. I even more upset with I saw the worker simply pulling my chicken patty out of a warmer and grabbed a biscuit. I also saw other people waiting on food that no one notified when food was ready. I hope they get things together. I won't be back.

Best chocolate chips waffle!!!! Chicken tenders are well seasoned. My Togo order was well packed. Service was great

Service was very friendly. The kitchen however was a mess, not aesthetic to watch them make any of the food at all. Biscuits were made fresh. Washrooms were pretty clean, they had two, however they could use better working trash cans (not plastic and one that has a lid that opens all the way) and take out the trash more, (overflowing with paper towels.) The inside was pretty cute. Took a while to get our food due to online orders. Biscuit was dry and could've used more butter.

We came a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend who said these were the best biscuits she had ever had. These were definitely very good biscuits, but they were a little more dense than I prefer - I love a light and fluffy biscuit. The sausage gravy was the perfect amount of heat for me and I had plenty of food left to take home. My toddler loved her chocolate chip waffle too. My only complaint was that it took the food quite some time to come out, especially considering there was only one other party there. But, this can happen when food is made as it is ordered, so this is a small complaint!

My first time dining at the new Maple Street Bisquit Company (2270 Nicholasville Rd Suite 120) was as good as it gets considering I had THREE "best I've ever tasted" experiences and received great service from managers Michael and Kinea and a young lady named Sam who took our order and served us at our table.The steak breakfast tacos I had were superb. I had the Two Taco Bundle for $9.50. The ample portion of chopped steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection as were the roasted peppers and onions and when combined with the eggs, cheese and fantastic creamy jalapeño sauce, these were easily the best breakfast taco/burritos I've ever had.The fried green tomatoes with their special homemade buttermilk ranch dip were also the best I've ever had and the same could be said for the perfectly cooked otherworldly flavored pecanwood bacon.The hash brown patties and the iced cinnamon biscuits were also excellent. Everything was very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back to sample more of their extensive menu of exquisite breakfast sandwiches, breakfast biscuits and egg, waffle, biscuits and gravy and chicken entrees. And yes they also have a wide range of specialty coffees, lattes, teas and juices. The maple Street Biscuit Company is definitely a great addition to the Lexington dining scene.

Best biscuits and gravy I ever had, the chicken was real good, and the coffee was great.

Fast food breakfast. Average food. The biscuits were dry. Coffee strong. We won't be back.
