The atmospheres a little to much mammoth, I get it because of the name and everything but it's a lot. Service was minimal, but the burrito was fantastic. Chicken cheese and rice was solid. Potato skins were basic. I'd definitely get another burrito tho

Wide variety. Terrible quality. Advertised as "Premier American" food, but has Mexican and Italian food as well... that should've been my first red flag... I order Cajun Chicken Pasta ($15) and could've made better food at home. No amount of salt and pepper could save this meal. My friend ordered BLT chicken tacos and a side of fries. She got maybe 6 fries and the tacos from Taco Bell are 100x better. Save your money, your time, and your taste buds from this horror fest.

Fat Man Reviews recently stopped into El Mamut Restaurante Bar & Grill in Richmond, KY. Mamut bills themselves as a"Premium American Restaurant" serving a wide variety of food.We started with Fried Pickles and Ranch dressing. The pickle chips were fried well to a golden brown but a little heavy on the batter, leaving the bigger pieces a little soggy in the center. There was a nice cayenne heat kick on the end that was delightful, and they give you a large order. The ranch was out of a bottle but very good. I ordered The Bleu Burger, Mamut Homemade Fries and a side of White Cheddar Cheese Macaroni. Advertised with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions and bleu cheese crumbles. The fries were cooked okay, they could have used a few minutes longer in the fryer, but they were seasoned well. The macaroni was overcooked and slightly mushy, but the cheddar cheese sauce was very flavorful. The bun was stale, not toasted and there was a lot of bread to bite through to get to the burger, but the veggies were fresh. The burger was ordered at medium and came out well done, but it was seasoned okay. The char marks on the burger from the grill added an unwanted acrid flavor. The onions were not caramelized but sautéed and large cut. Instead of coming with Bleu Cheese crumbles it was covered in dressing, making for a messy and an overpowering bite. If the onions were caramelized it would have helped cut through the salty dressing at least. My fiancé ordered the Marinaded Chicken, loaded Sweet Potato and a House Salad. The salad was fine and a nice size with fresh veggies. The sweet potato, cooked well and a good amount of brown sugar and butter was served with it. The chicken marinade and seasoning was really nice, flavorful, and it was juicy, in parts. The other parts had such a hard sear with grill marks and char it made for a burnt taste that overwhelmed the chicken. The chicken could have used a sauce as well. Mamut has a very large menu that offers burgers, tacos, pasta, steak, sandwiches, fajitas and wraps. They serve beer and they have a full bar. The server was very nice and attentive. The Fat Man says that El Mamut Restaurante Bar & Grill is NOT approved.

We stumbled across this place on the Buc-ee's. Appetizers were great and amazing place to have bar food. Service was very attentive and prices were very reasonable

We have tried this place twice. The restaurant is a nice atmosphere. If you go after dark, the parking lot is dark, seriously no lights anywhere. The service is ok, not outstanding. Haven't had a friendly server at either of our visits. The food is decent, but the fries are super weird. They look wonderful but it's like they soak them in pickle juice or something weird. They taste sour. No one in my party is interested in going back a third time.

I have eaten here about once a month for the past year and the food is consistently good. They serve Mexican food but try the Knob Hill Chicken, sirloin beef tips, or the grilled pork chops.

The staff here is so kind, especially the woman at the front. The food here is both delicious and affordable.

Food, bad. Service, minimal at best. Ambiance, weird (what is up with wholly mammoths?!). Inedible lunch and we were the ONLY ones in the place for lunch. They knew I rejected my lunch but did not offer to refund or do anything about it, so (you got it). DO NOT GO HERE! They will be closing soon, unless they are a front for something else. YACK!

Have eaten here twice since moving here. First time I got a baked potato with steak, onions, peppers and cheese. It was pretty good but not magical. The second time I had a pulled pork sandwich. It wasn't the best. The meat tasted and looked microwaved and the buns were stale and hard.

Waiter could of been more friendly but over all good experience. Prices are reasonable and drinks were good. I did the hangover burger and it was great!
