Madison Garden Bar and Grill

Stopped in on a crowded Thursday night. We got seated quickly and our waiter Chase, got us going with a couple cold beers while we looked over the menu.The Gardens, as it is known by locals, has a great beer and bourbon selection.Their wings are in my Top 5. Dry rubbed with their Buff Stuff. Always crisp and hot, with the perfect amount of seasoning. Medium heat is our favorite with their ranch and a side of celery. My wife got a huge side salad which was fresh and had their homemade croutons.Karaoke started at 8 tonight, so we had some free entertainment in addition to a variety of sports available on all of the TV's.

This place is really good if you know what to expect. So? What to expect? Expect it to be dim lit, loud, crowded, and BUSY.This was presented to me as the best place to get wings in Richmond, and although my expectations were high it managed to meet them.The food was good, not the best wings I've ever had but they were cooked properly and seasoned well. I got the garden wings which is their house dry rub. It reminded me of a grippos meets bbq seasoning. Not bad.Our server was pleasant and quick despite having many tables.The bathrooms are small and terribly located, making entering and exiting an acrobatic feature.All that to say it's 4 stars for what it is, which is a good place to get wings in Richmond.

Some guys were bothering me and my two friends, and the host came over in the most uncouth, classy way and asked if we were ok. We said no, and he handled it. He'a a girl's girl. Dunno about the food, the kitchen was closed.

Been eating here for a few years, lunch, just about every Friday. Always get the hot dry wings... not a better wing in the state. Love them!

Great variety of food .. where else can get calzone or teriyaki and all awesome. Great service and friendly staff. Good music ..we are looking forward to coming back in area to go again (will snag t shirt too then)

Love their wings. Great local bar and pub. I love places like this! Hubby loves burger and fries. Fun and great for games. Parking is tough but worth it!

After moving away from Richmond for 7 years, we still talked about how much we missed Madison Garden's wings. We recently had their wings again and we were not wrong about them; still the most crispy and moist, the dry rub makes the difference and their ranch and bleu cheese are fantastic. I cannot recommend their wings enough.

Absolutely the best place in the Lexington area to go for chicken wings, they are so crispy thick and juicy. Service was great typical bar service but definitely family friendly. Plenty of tvs to watch the game and plenty of room to seat guest. Great experience definitely recommend and will go back myself

First time trying and immediately disappointed. Ordered a take-out order and three of our items (two being full meals) were missing. Shame on us for not verifying before we drove 20 mins home but shame on any establishment for not validating an order before handing an order off to a customer. Called and got disconnected from the person we spoke to. Called back and got nothing but an automated line that the call couldn't be completed. If you care about food, the food we did receive is decent which is the reason for the two stars. If you care about service, don't waste your time with this place. Service is to be expected with a crappy college town dive bar. Didn't compensate us or anything for their miss and our inconvenience.

Great food and service! We loved our waitress! The wings we got were great! Definitely recommend!
