Los 3 Volcanes Restaurant

Where do I begin...first the 3 salsas & chips they provided were awesome. Ordered a margarita that was tasty & came in a fiber optic lighted glass that was festive. We ordered the Nacho Locos & shared them between the 2 of us and they were scrumptious & the perfect portion for both of us. It's been said that seeing the bathroom of a restaurant might be a window into the kitchen cleanliness. The women's restroom was spotless & smelled good! As was the dining area...clean & tidy. The only suggestion I could offer to increase potential traffic is not proper outdoor road signage that we saw. We almost passed it, but gratefully we did find it & loved our dining experience! Don't walk, RUN & try it!! BTW...a couple came in & obviously are weekly regulars & the staff recognized them & asked if they wanted their "regulars." They said as they paid out, "See you next week!"

I stubbles upon this place while traveling back home from a test. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a nice waitress. Who understood very little English. As we struggled and giggled to get my order in she assured it wouldn't be long before my drink would be delivered. This is where the downfall begins. It took :15 before I received a drink. In the process my drink gets accidentally knocked over by someone else. The place maybe had 6-9 customers including myself. As I go to ask someone for napkins to clean the mess.... I overhear another customer looking for assistance. She ask me if I have found anyone I answer no. She looks frustrated. She turns to me and says do not eat here. Confused I ask why she shows her plate in her hands and takes her fork and pulls out a 8-12 inch long (what felt like grossly forever) never ending thick black hair. I tell her good luck and find a stack of napkins finally. Take them and as I walk away the waitress emerges I ask for a mop with the little Spanish I know. She points to a dim lit corner. Never asking why I go get it and take that and the stack of napkins and begin cleaning. After I get it cleaned she is behind me with my food now another :35 later. Looks at the wet napkins and says it's okay. I get. Okay. I sit down look at the food now I am by no means starving anymore. Not thirsty thank goodness because I was never offered another beverage . I look up she comes back. Literally after after walking away and says good? I says sorry no. Ticket please. I paid $35 plus a $10 tip for a plate of food that sat there as I left, nothing in my cup standing in a stack of soggy napkins. I will absolutely not be returning nor recommending. Side note: as I left I did feel sorry for the server. She was the only one in I saw. Left with what appeared to be all English speaking customers (assumption) she was nice. She smiled. She tried her best I do believe. Hence why I included my tip price in this review. They left her to a complete ca ca show. In my opinion. I know you don't always know someone's else's circumstances... maybe this was a bad day. I don't know? I blame me for not doing my research. Just an honest review. I do wish this business better for their future.

Would have given 3.5 stars but had homemade tortillas for the tacos. Typical slow service but not out of the ordinary. I ordered three carnitas tacos and a plate of rice and beans. Tacos came Mexican style but the onions had been grilled. Side garnish of red onion and, charred jalapeño and some sliced radish's The carnitas was a tad salty. The received refried beans were dense and had good flavor. The rice was plain but not dry and also had good flavor. Chips were good but salsa lacked ingredients and flavor.

Excellent service! We thought we wanted tacos Togo but they smelled so good we took a seat and ate them all before we left lol. We got a mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken tacos with and without guac. Sooo good! Glad Bowling Green is repping Mexican food well!

This place has some pretty typical Mexican fare, but that's a really good thing. Their food is solid. I had the crazy nachos and a chorizo taco. BG is turning into the Mecca of Mexican restaurants, and I love it. They all have a nice little niche they fit in. All that to say, go here if you want some good Mexican food and a smaller menu to choose from. It makes the experience so much nicer sometimes to not have to scour the menu to decide what you want.

I've not had a bad dish at this place. Great food! Wish they would bring the carnitas back is the only negative I have for this place. Chips have always been warm and fresh when served. Salsa is probably best in town. The pork chop! That thing is absolutely phenomenal. Best one in BG hands down. Staff is super friendly. Unfortunately when you think of Mexican food this place probably wont cross your radar. But it needs to be on the top of your list. It's a diamond in the rough. This is easily top 2-3 Mexican restaurants in BG. Could even be the best. Take the time to go see these guys and have them recommend something to eat. You won't be disappointed. I've not had a bad meal here yet. I can't say that about ANY restaurant in BG.

Hands down the best taco place in town. I ordered their chicken and carnitas tacos. Authentic mexican tacos with chopped radish, onions and fried chilly on side. Chips and salsa were good and tasty, could be a bit salty for someone else's taste, but i like mine a bit salty ;). On drinks menu, highly recommend trying their mango juice, it was perfect to mellow down the heat of green chillies and yes they are spicy. Due to covid restrictions and limitations, they don't host or do karaoke. On weekends one would usually find a bunch of people singing and enjoying the food.

Heard about this little gem so we thought we would try it out. Sort of off the beaten path small little dive looking place. The service was immediate our waitress was very nice. Salsa was very fresh and fantastic I tried three different tacos. I had the beef tongue the shredded chicken and the steak. These tacos were legit very good my girlfriend had a burrito That was loaded to the gills. Great little restaurant and expensive he must give this a try

I was looking for chicken wing place but was closed. I took a chance on this place and glad I did. The owner was very nice and suggested their large burrito. Try the green sauce. Freshly made by the restaurant itself.

Hands down the best Mexican food in Bowling Green. Exceptional service as well. I can't wait to go back
