Lorenzo’s Corner Pizza & Pub

This was my first stop for Louisville Pizza week. I had never been here and wanted to give it a try. It is located off busy Chamberlain Lane close to the Ford Truck Factory. It is located with other buildings and has a small parking lot. I go in not knowing what to expect. There appears to be an area of the building that is reserved for parties and the other half for the bar. The area around the bar was not well lit, except behind the bar. The dining area was mostly dark. I opted to sit at the bar beings it was just me. There was a bartender and a kitchen person on staff that I saw. I told the bartender I was there for pizza week and ordered the pepperoni pizza. It was ready in a timely manner. I was surprised to get a garlic butter and didn't even ask for one. The pizza was just ok, the crust was crunchy and well cooked. The pizza itself kinda tasted like it came from the freezer. Nothing against frozen pizza. I expected better. The bartender was friendly and attentive, the environment seemed to consist mostly locals and Ford Truck plant employees on lunch break. Not sure I would return here or not.

Went in to order a pizza to go from the bar. Tried calling ahead and no one answered. I waited an hour. They had no draft, no refrigeration for beer. Just bottles on ice. I have it a try. I won't be back

Oh no... Another star gone... Great server with rules that prevent great service. Seriously, they are not allowed to change the speaker or channel of the Browns game to another football game even though a fans, jerseys, and opinions were for another team. Sounds fun. B but a group of us were passionate enough to leave when they would t change the channel

Pizza/pub located off Westport road near the Ford motor factory. I had heard they had really good pizza in a hole in the wall establishment in this area so I looked it up and found the corner pizza and pub. They have a very spacious bar area with plenty of seating. They have a juke box, a couple arcade games and several dart boards. Upon entering we were told to seat ourselves. We found our seats and sat down to order. They do have two high chairs so the waitress gave us a high chair. However she took it back a few minutes later when she seen the baby was being held at the time. We ordered an app of Buffalo chicken dip. It was very tasty with good flavor. Portions was kinda small. My wife ordered a veggie salad which she said "meh. It was a salad". We ordered a large cheese and a large pepperoni. Very good pizzas. Great tasting cheese and sauce and thin crust Similar to Louisville local favorite Bearnos. I enjoyed the cheese more than the pepperoni. The pepperoni had strong flavor and i could taste the heartburn about to kick in so I stayed with the cheese. My wife and kids preferred the pepperoni. So maybe It was just me. Both were very good though. The service here is a two part story. I don't think our original waitress had any help. She was kinda forgetful and slower. But was very nice. A lady took over for her mid meal and form that point on we was able to get refills and better service. Overall cool place and really good pizza. It's kinda a far drive from our home but I absolutely wouldn't be opposed to coming back. Pizza as mentioned earlier is comparable t bearnos (my personal favorite pizza in Louisville) but a tad bit greasier on the cheese and spicy on the pepperoni. Worth checking out if you have never been.

Excellent pizza here! Crust is crisp, sauce is fresh and not overwhelming, loaded with toppings, and has a very nice blend of seasonings in the crust. We ordered this for lunch at work at 11am and it was ready promptly at 11:30 as promised for pickup. Truly enjoyed it for hole-in-the-wall pizza! Will be ordering a lot more frequently. We ordered pepperoni, banana peppers, pineapple, and bacon, and the pizza was loaded with bacon! So good. Pepperonis were really crisp and delicious, and everything seemed fresh. Baked perfectly.

Best pizza in Louisville. Cheap drinks. Dives sometimes have the best food. Kerns Korner, Hitching Post, Bambi Bar etc

After a couple visits once with friends for his bands gig and drinks. My second was on recommendation for pizza. Corner pizza is very casual and welcoming where a fun group of regulars brought plenty of join in cheer! From a selection of 12 taps and a wide array of bottled brews along with a decent choice of bourbons we were made to feel at home. Quick friendly service we ordered a couple of drafts we ordered a med pie with bacon jalapeños and Canadian ham. The pizza is solid! Crisp thin crist. Really good pizza place.

Even bad pizza tastes kinda good. This is bad pizza. First visit to the Corner Pizza & Pub. Likely my last.

Food was decent, service was aweful! It's a shame because the oven in this place has the ability to put out amazing pizza. It has been several businesses over the years and my husband and I have frequented them all. Unless management steps in and hires some more people, we won't be back. The bartender was struggling to keep up on a not so busy Saturday night.
