Locals Food Hub & Pizza Pub

My friends and I loved our visit to Locals. It was recommended by a tour guide we met on a bourbon tour in Lexington. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pizza was delicious. It was a thin crust wood fired pizza and we ate every last bite.Locals offer counter service and a roomy dining area. They also have a retail area filled with local produce. The entire restaurant/store is a fabulous concept.

I have been to Locals several times since they opened, both with friends and with my Hubby. It's a great gathering place for friends, and the live music on the weekends is nice.We've tried several of the pizzas and salads, and all of them are tasty! I like that they use Kentucky Proud ingredients, thus supporting Kentucky farmers, some of whom I know personally!The little grocery section has items from all over Kentucky, in one place, including items not found in other local stores. Michelle, Birch, and the employees are friendly and helpful. And by participating in the Double Dollars program, and with the support of a local credit union, they are able to fulfill their mission of good local food for all!

The atmosphere was perfect, the picnic tables were great to play cards on. The pizza was very good and the beer was ice cold!

Excellent food hub. Wish we had room to try some of the sourdough pretzels and pizza. The menu and food looked great.We did grab some groceries to go and they had a great selection of locally-sourced items. They also had some great live acoustic music in the dining area. Would definitely come back especially to try those sourdough pretzels!!

Stopped for a late lunch after touring Buffalo Trace distillery. Ordered two pizzas for the four of us. Both were excellent, especially the crust. Service was quick and very friendly. Good option near the distillery.

Following the YELP reviews we stopped in. Had a cheese pizza (which I judge everyone on) a supreme and an order of wings. (1/2 price on Wednesday)...the wings were delicious and flavorful. We enjoyed the pizzas but grew tired of chewing. Weird right? Fresh veggies on the supreme with the thinnest crust I've encountered to date and the cheese pizza had a good ratio of cheese to sauce...maybe could have used a bit more sauce. Oh, also got cheesy bread which was nice and salty with a side of marinara. All in all, not bad...but I wouldn't go out of my way for the pizza....the wings, maybe.

This was our first stop upon our arrival to Frankfort. We chose this place based on previous reviews, a pet-friendly option, and the kids play area. The market is pretty nice with meats, cheese, and produce options. We ate lunch here and the pizza was really good. They have several beers available on draft. Since it was St. Patrick's day, they even had a green beer available that day! They have several tables inside and out on the patio. Our dog was allowed inside, which was nice because the wind made it a bit of a chilly day. Our daughter enjoyed the play area. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Locals are a favorite for pizza so we had them cater our wedding and it was marvelous.All the pizzas were fresh and still warm.

Decent flavored pizza...Not great but decent. The absolute smallest $20 pizza I have ever had in my life.

First thing we actually really have been enjoying the food and experience at Locals. The beer selection is great and the pizza, cheese bread and garlic bread have been great. The Happy Hour is outstanding.Today the girl working register and taking orders was not very good. First ordered the pretzels and cheese bread and beers. But realized never got a pager for food. Went back up and asked if order was put in for pretzels and the cheese bread. We got pretzels and that was it. I decided that I was not meant to get the cheese bread. Going back up she did not realize she forgot to put cheese bread In. I hope Management gives her a coaching to pay attention and reiterate the order to make sure she has it correctly.I will be back and I hope the woman with orange hair does a better job.Also the pretzels are more like giant garlic knots.
