Local Taco

We had an early dinner there yesterday. There were 5 in our group.If you haven't been before, you order your food from the wait staff at the front counter and servers deliver it to your table. You have to order your alcoholic drinks separately from the bar area.I had a Spicy Shrimp Taco and the Fish Taco. These are 2 of my favorites that they offer.We also had a trio of their salsas - Roja, Smoked Corn & Black Bean, and Pico de Gallo. The Chips were thin, crispy and warm. Everything was delicious.The draft beers are huge!!

Very cute place. Extremely clean. Organized.I can't speak to the tacos, I only had the dips and chips. Chips were fresh and tasty (I had to add salt). The guacamole was wonderful and fresh. Queso was good. Salsa was nice and tasted homemade. We came at lunch time and there was a decent size line. It moved very quickly and hostess was on top of things.

Perfect place to stop before a concert at Rupp Arena! It wasn't too busy, and is walking distance to the arena. This place would be a great spot to go even on non-event nights. I got the cocinero salad and it was great! It was a huge portion at an affordable price. Highly recommend!

We don't think of this as a Mexican place. They have so many delicious tacos, I don't know which one that I like the most. My favorites are the Korean BBQ and the Shrimp. The fried chicken is really good and I love the fish too. They usually have great specials too!Nice atmosphere and bar as well. It's a great choice for lunch and both locations are great in their own ways.

Soooo I am so confused by all these bad reviews. I loved this meal and I loved how fast it was. I has the Buffalo chicken quesadilla and chips and queso. Queso was bomb! Everyone and my table was thrilled with their meal. Even my nephew said he is driving down from PA any time he wants chicken fingers. Service was friendly and our food came out in like ten minutes. Interior was a Clean and family friendly place

Had nothing but great meals, drinks and service here. Staff is friendly. Lots of seating and parking. Easy on and off the interstate. Tray the southern fried Tacos. Love the corn in the cob.

This place was pretty good! We didn't get much from here and just stopped in for a quick lunch. The queso was flavorful but the texture was a bit thick for me and the chips were a bit stale. It was still good, but nothing notable. The tacos, on the other hand, were pretty great! We just got the Korean bbq taco and the tequila chicken taco. Both had amazing flavors and the meat was juicy! Also, this may sound weird, but we got waters and they tasted terrible. Not sure what the issue was there but definitely beware! Anyways, the place was cute enough and the service was fine. The tacos were good but everything else was mediocre. Still worth a try if you're ever around!

Food is very tasty. Not authentic Mexican, but unique taco flavors and all tastes really fresh.

Always enjoy a trip to Local Taco. As the name implies, they partner with local farmers & producers which I love. You can find them listed on their wall. I prefer the campus location but am happy they are in Hamburg which is surely lacking local businesses. My faves are the Korean BBQ, Buffalo Chicken & Fish Taco.

Came here for the first time coming thru Lexington going back to Cincinnati. They've got solid tacos, just slightly lack luster on the flavor. Chips and queso were delicious, as was the margarita. We will definitely try this again if we're in the area and want a chill vibe restaurant with friendly service!
