Local LEX Market

Not quite what I expected. A lot of stuff in a big space. Some local. Walked through, but didn't find anything of interest to me. You might find a little something, something as a gift item.55

Awesome shop hidden in the corner of a strip mall on Southland. I've probably passed this place hundreds of times without realizing it was here, but so glad I found it. Awesome local KY products made from dozens of artists and craftsmen, plus big foot shirts which always is a plus for me bc it makes me laugh. Store is much larger on the inside than you would expect.

This store is very much a hodge-podge of items. Some are really cool and clearly made by talented artists, others are... not. I feel like it's worth a stop if in the area to walk through and there is certainly a lot to see. They also sell some food items (and a few have samples available), but the freshness seemed questionable, so I passed on that. I've been here a few times and was able to find items to include with gifts or to contribute to fundraising auction baskets that I was putting together. The employees have always been friendly, and the store is clean and reasonably organized.

Love this place, they carry so many Kentucky artists and makers. I was amazed at the breadth of items from jewelry, leather, wood work, apparel, barrel heads, metal and so on. Plus they carry tons of local foods like eggs, cheesecakes, ready made food, cookies, cupcakes, fudge, nuts, jams, chicken salad, charcuterie and a freezer full of local meats! They offer some fun events too and often makers are in house on Saturday with free samples. A lot of makers will customize.

I was picking up my kid from daycare when I saw this place, it looked so cute from the outside so of course i had to go in. And let me tell you i fell in love with this place. Im greeted by the staff and it just felt very welcoming. I found so many selection of items going from jewelry, clothes, food, furniture, literally anything in there. I especially loved the tshirts they sell so i got me a few plus some other goodies. The two owners are lovely ladies. I think its an amazing purpose they have here having over 90 buisnesses in here. To be honest i almost forgot to pick up my kid lol.
