LiuJi Asian Food Market

Here is another great option for an Asian Market in the Radcliffe/Elizabethtown area. Lui Ji had a bunch of fresh vegetable options in their cases. It's just my wife Sherry and I so we don't need that much of anything. The owner was more than happy to divide an already packaged Baby Bok Choy. There were candies and snacks, frozen items and lots of ramen choices including one which we tried that was advertised as atomic and they were not kidding! We have learned to put less of the heat package into the mix....ouchie wa wa! There were also dried items like shiitake mushrooms in smaller packages which was great for us. We will definitely shop here again. Stop by and try something new!

ETA (3/8/18): LiuJi recently shifted its location a few hundred feet to the left, perpendicular to the Dixie in a strip mall adjacent to their original location.~~~~~~New Asian market open in a previous location of Cottage Charm.While it's fairly small and certainly spare, items are well organized, in date, in good shape, and easily found on clean and tidy shelves.Produce and a few pre-made items are confined to coolers on the far left, rear left of the location has chest freezers, both of which have the added benefit of no lingering smells.Limited selection of bulk rice and other items, as well. Prices certainly fair (to low).Solid 3.5, especially if you're just looking for a few staple Asian ingredients that are otherwise unavailable from places like Kroger and Walmart, or trying to supplement Chinese food groceries / supplies without having to drive over an hour to more extensive markets.

Nicely stocked...lots of authentic choices. Very friendly staff. I am able to find ingredients there that are not carried at any other grocery store.

This store is wonderful. The first thing you notice is that it is very clean and meticulously organized. It is easy to find whatever you need quickly, as the products are well placed. They have a great selection and some enjoyable hot food to grab-n-go such as dumplings and steam buns. It is conveniently located and I appreciate this store's presence, making basic Asian food selections available to the community.
