Little Dave's Restaurant & Pizza

My favorite restaurant at Rough River. This is a great choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is always good and the prices are fair. Staff are kind and helpful.

Very down home feel when eating here. Menu has a little bit of everything and a good majority has a good home cooked feel. I would note on occasion food can seem under seasoned but still good. Prices are very reasonable. Our favorite item to get is the breakfast pizza, it's is always a crowd pleaser and make breakfast easy on days you don't feel like cooking. Service has always been friendly and they also deliver to the local camp grounds.

Before our trip to Rough River Dam State Park Resort I looked up where we would be dining out. Little Dave's seemed to have the best reviews and wifey was in the mood for pizza. We found the restaurant and it has a real humble country appeal to it with neat sayings on the walls. There were 4 or 5 staff onboard and a moderate amount of business coming and going. We ordered a "The Works" pizza which has everything on it, save the kitchen sink.We had them hold the pineapple, bacon and beef. We went for everything else. The pizza had little bitty pieces of items on it which was fine with me. Wifey thought it lacked seasoning, but they provided a spice in a bottle which really gave the pizza a kick. I also added sprinkle cheese, red pepper flakes and Frank's Hot sauce. My slices lacked nothing.The servers and other staff were cordial and informative about their menu and the area. Wifey and I shared a Strawberry Crunch cake which resembled the ice cream bars of same name. It was good. I would have it again. I bought a Peanut Butter Thunder cake and World's Greatest Chocolate cake to go for later. Wifey ate her PB cake and I ate choco cake. They were also good, especially World's Greatest Chocolate Cake. I would order that again.I trust we will be back for something else before heading home in a couple days. They have fish, steak and other items to try another time.

I've been to Little Dave's restaurant many times. The service is always good and the food is Awesome. Today I wanted pancakes since it was breakfast time but I seen a breakfast pizza on the menu and I already knew how good their pizzas are so I gave it a try. I was not disappointed, it was great! If you're around the area this is a must try place!

We were in the area late one night and this was the only option open for food. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh and tasted good. It's perfect for kids since they have a pretty good size game room in the back. Would recommend if in the lakes area.

Not much in town, this however was a good stop.Service or I should say arrival of the food was miserably slow, luckily we were not in a rush. The food did arrive hot to our table.Sweet tea was extra good and will say refills kept coming, the service was friendly and the restaurant was full. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner. Catfish was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp cornmeal batter. My cornbread was a pancake, odd presentation and it was not hot. The green beans a bit over seasoned and overcooked, green beans are a roll of the dice when dining out.They did have a homemade cheesecake. but all others desserts are pre-made, she said they are good, we passed this time around.

This restaurant is amazing. The staff are incredible. I have gotten a new thing just about everyone I visit and it's always good. The burgers are amazing. The fried pickles were delicious. I love the lake feel of the decor since it's right by the rough river. Me and my family go here all the time. Great place to eat. Highly recommend.

HORRIBLE MEAL! Chicken was thin and tough and had unusual flavor. Baked potato tasted old and reheated and tasted awful. Green beans were fair. Not worth the money. Service was slow.

Where else in the world can you get breakfast And a pizza at the same time! They even offer to change the menu however you need it. It's an amazing deal when you can feed five people, including two teenagers, for $60 including dessert. A small town restaurant with lots of good vibes!

I ordered chili, it was so nasty I actually got sick. I then tried white bean soup I again sent it back . Both dishes had a horrible taste. I left hungry. In their defense there was only one waitress and the place was packed, maybe the taste was in the water because I have eaten there several times and the food was good.
