The Lexington Healing Arts Academy is a great place to get a massage. The student massage therapists offer massages at an affordable price, but book up quickly. If you're looking for a more experienced masseuse, graduate or professional massages are also available at slightly higher prices. It's recommended to book in advance, as student massages are always in high demand. The academy offers an online booking system, which is convenient, and they also accept credit cards. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and parking is available. All in all, the Lexington Healing Arts Academy is a great choice for anyone looking for a cost-effective and professional massage experience.

I recently had a 60 minute massage with Roland. He thoroughly listened to my concerns and tailored my treatment accordingly. The massage was excellent - the pressure and amount of time spent on each area of concern. i left LHAA feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I have already rebooked.

This place lives up to its name as a healing center as it offers so many services. You can get a massage, but you can also take a yoga class or a tai chi class or even learn to be a massage therapist. For massages, since it is also an academy, they offer a wide range of prices for massages depending on whether or not you want to use a student, a professional or an instructor. I have had many massages there and always request a professional. I've never had the same one twice, my own decision, and I have not had a bad experience ever. The massages are done in small, pleasant rooms piping calming music. You can request hot rocks and other extras, if you desire. Also, you can select the length of your massage. All of these determine the final cost. The yoga classes are available at different times of the day and/or week and they are easy to sign up for online. They have the yoga mats, blankets, and other props there for you to use. They have classes from beginners to advanced, as well as combinations. My favorite class is called Relaxation and Restoration. It's so calming and involves lots of slow stretching and exercises to reduce stress. Every class ends with a meditation of some sort. Lexington Healing Arts is really clean and cozy. Everyone is helpful and professional; they clearly have a common interest in making sure that people have a good experience.

I went to LHAA today for a 60 minute relaxation massage. I saw one of the students and I was blown away by the quality for the price. It was so clean and professional. I left with no knots in my shoulders and feeling quite a bit like a noodle :-) I will be back!

My husband booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage for me and I received such a relaxing treatment. This was the first massage I had after I broke my back over a year ago, so all my muscles were tense and knotted up. The massage therapist did an amazing job working out the tension and knots and just providing a relaxing environment. I highly recommend this establishment. Everything was clean and good quality. You can have your pick of students or professionals depending on what you are looking to pay. I had a professional provide a massage and I thought the price was exceptional and well worth it. I 100% recommend this place and I myself look forward to returning soon.

Alright, after reading some negative reviews I was anxious to go to my 60 minute student massage. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at my whole experience. The front desk workers were incredibly sweet; a yoga class was just let out when I arrived and the instructors were very pleasant to the patrons who had questions about additional classes. As for my massage itself, I opted for a student massage (purely out of being cheap). Jessica was very kind and informative and honestly I got more than my money's worth. Definitely recommend if you want a massage on a budget! Plus scheduling was a breeze on their app.

I'm just finding this site and unfortunately I can't remember my masseur's name since I received my massage back onJuly 25th. However, we talked a few minutes before she started so she could see what I was going to need. I told her my agenda for the week as I was leaving for vacation the next day and it would involve a lot of walking. She concentrated on my lower back and my legs since my back has a tendency to ache when I do a lot of walking. She was intense. She massaged those muscles and it felt so good. During my vacation, I walked over 10,000 steps each day and not once did my back, legs or feet ache. I will definitely be going back.

Wow. I might actually be able to fulfill my lifelong dream of getting massages regularly! $30 for an hour massage = best deal ever. The $30 massages are done by students, but I could not tell much of a difference in the skill level from the student who worked with me on my first visit in comparison to other people with more experience. I actually felt the tension in my back muscles release through heat. Really cool sensation and my back has felt wonderful ever since.Definitely go check this place out. You walk into the room and it's more like a doctor or dentist's office. I get the implication they want to convey the message that getting a massage should be a regular occurrence, just like other medical check ups. With an affordable pricing structure, I'm on board!
