Absolutely loved my time at the Lexington Bartending School. They do a great job of not only teaching you the classic recipes and proper garnishing for drinks, but also creating a community that you can rely on. While I was still attending classes, I was given the opportunity to bartend at a charity event through the school and made more money in that one event than it actually cost to attend the school. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is even remotely interested in bartending!

This has definitely been one of the coolest experiences ever. My waitressing job requires me to make drinks every now and then but because I've never received any actual training it was always the most dreadful part of my work shifts. Today I learned how to make a lot of popular drinks as well as a few complicated ones. The training that I received today was amazing & extremely helpful. I am now confident in my abilities to make the best drinks for my customers! 10/10 recommend

This has definitely been the absolute only School I have ever truly enjoy going to. Todd is great so down to earth and intelligent and passionate owner and He has created an amazing system to teaching and creating you into a very knowledgeable and quick bartender. He shares the ins and outs of this business shares not only the book side of Bartending but gives you that on the job hustle and how to be successful and what to look for; pay attention to; how you learn to sell yourself. By perfecting your craft which is a reflection of you. I highly recommends his place if your wanting to try something new Learn a new trade or just going with the flow of life. This place as well offers a lot of new experience even out side of the students in this school. They are creative and innovative people here always creating and taking Bartending and the many drinks to the Next Level of this Art of Bartending!!! Check them Out!

Wrongly advertise that they have job placement. They wait til the last day of class to tell you they're not helping you get a job. They'll just tell you what jobs are advertised in the classifieds. Good job training. Expensive though.

I recently saw a review on another site blasting this place giving it a 1 star review. It couldn't be more inaccurate. I attended this school in 2010. I had to scrape the tuition together but it was totally worth it. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable about mixology. Everything from their extensive knowledge of a vast array of liquors/liqueurs, garnishes, glassware, pouring technique, bar placement and how to handle yourself behind the bar, to even how to handle the other little things that come up in bars like dealing with management, other co-workers, and patrons. I truly and honestly learned so much from my time there. The classes when I was attending were set up to get you proficient in a matter of weeks to be able to tackle a entry level bartending gig and if you put forth the effort, you could even go to a busier bar as I did and really feel ready. The school really stands by their students and want them to succeed. When I was attending the school I had some pretty hectic stuff happen during that time in my life and it took me way longer than I should to graduate and they worked with me patiently every step of the way. I've seen other bartending schools pop up everywhere around the country, online bar training, and tons of stuff on amazon. Sure, you could save a few bucks and go this route or you can make a real investment in yourself and your bartending career and pick these guys. I honestly cannot recommend it enough.

Thank you for being a big part of our wedding day, and Jeremiah Cox is the best Mixologist we'd worked with. We had 150 guests in our wedding and everyone of them loves you! Hope to work with you'all again!

This school is great. I went in July of 2021 and learned so much about bartending and mixology. The teachers we great and welcoming, and my classmates were as well. This place helped me get a bartending job immediately and given me the opportunity to work private events. Would highly recommend!!

The instructors for the most part are very nice and really try to make you better. If the owner tells you the testing is easy, that's not exactly true. I was duped on that.. I'm a 54 year old retiree and there was no way I could pass a test that's designed for college aged people. I even told them I wasn't going to do the fast paced bars in and around Lexington. I was going to do country clubs and golf courses, slower paced places.. Didn't matter I still had to pass a test with a 90 percent and make 20 different drinks in 8 minutes .If I were 30 again maybe but not at

This place deserves zero stars! I took the course and got a diploma years ago and it was a great experience. I was told that I could come back any time to do a free refresher course. I recently got in touch with Todd, the new owner, and I was told that he will not honor that agreement. Not only would he not honor the policy, he was rude and condescending telling me I could come back and take the course but "I hope you enjoy the new material that you will struggle to follow that's in the new book only." The new book is $100. Not exactly free is it?
