Leono's Restaurant

We wanted to try something outside of chain restaurants, but this place is nothing to "write home about." Upon our arrival, we observed a small child running around in the kitchen. Not only is this dangerous, but I'm sure the health dept would not approve. The food is overpriced. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer, not realizing it is only individual portions. We also ordered the meat pizza and a beef and cheddar sandwich. The cheese bread was a bit dry and was served with a cup of under seasoned butter. Normally breadsticks are served with marinara so we asked the waitress for some, not realizing we were going to be charged for "extra sauce."The sandwich was next to bare and lacking (as you can see in pic.) It was served with cheap chips that tasted like they hadn't been stored correctly. The pizza was ok. It tasted like the canned pizza crust from Kroger. It was under-seasoned so we added salt. In summary, I'm always happy when we try something new but do not recommend based on our experience.

We are recommended this place by a local, and did not disappoint, I got a pizza it was wonderful, my sister got the fettuccine alfredo, it was a very enjoyable flavorful experience, and all was good in total. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful and scenic. And very family friendly

It's okay. Nothing to rant and rave about. It's certainly not the best pizza I've ever had and it is an expensive place to eat.

I have been here an few times only once did I have an fulfilling experience. Service is moderately good but about the same level you could expect out of a gas station quality pizzeria. Now I know Leono's is supposed to be "fancy pizza" so I have set high expectations of their pizza but I don't think their pizza would even reach expectations of gas station quality pizza no offense. The environment is friendly but you guys must improve the quality of your pizza I literally get an lot of pizza grease on "fancy pizza" and the pizza doesn't taste satisfying and the pizza is just gross. It's a shame that so called "fancy pizza" can't even fit gas station quality expectations hopefully these issues can be corrected otherwise you may lose many customers including me.

I'm from out of town and literally picked this restaurant because the parking lot was full. I figured full parking lot must be good food and I wasn't wrong. After a brief description of the menu from my willing and waiting waitress I made the decision to pick the lasagna. BTW, have the cheese put on the breadsticks, only 80 cents xtra. Despite the huge chip out of the presentation platter - the lasagna was delicious, possibly the best I've ever had. Definitely check out Leono's if you are in Cynthiana, Kentucky.

Best food ever, the cheese sticks were amazing in the garlic butter. The super spaghetti and pizza were also so so good.

On a road trip and stumbled on this little hidden gem. The food was amazing! Very cozy family vibe. The pizza was fresh and cooked to perfection. If you are ever close by, check it out!

Very homey and inexpensive! Homemade pizza lasagna was authentic and tasty. I do warn, they do not serve Alfredo pasta, but they make their own signature sauce that has a cinnamon flavor. It was good but not a flavor I'm use to having with pasta. Service is generous and kind.

This was the first restaurant in town we tried when we moved here! Love the crispiness of the pan pizza!

Really good pizza and everything else I've tried on the menu has been good as well. Always great service and good atmosphere. The only thing to keep it from 5 stars imo is the limited drink and food options. They could add something new once in a while.
