Had a wonderful meal here a few weeks ago. I love Mediterranean food so I'm pretty picky about it, and this place did not disappoint. Excellent gyros, perfect fries, crispy Baklava, and the best falafel I've ever had -- I have always thought falafel was bland until now. Service was excellent. I will definitely go back!

Great food and great service!! The staff here is so friendly. I came at night for drinks and vibes and that's exactly what I got!! I'm so glad this place came here to Bowling Green. If you're looking good food, music and a nice night out. 100/10 recommend.

I went to this place before. Food was good. Our server was very funny and nice. I can't remember her name but she had a sleeve of tattoos on her arm. The only thing I have to complain about is the price. Not that busy so pretty quiet.

Amazing fresh food! Great cocktails- and I tried Hookah first the first time. Had the Greek version and American version of food. Best Mac n cheese I've ever had in a restaurant that wasn't dried out or chewy. RYAN our server was amazing. He recommended the Ribeye- chef seasons it perfectly. Will be back for that. Came during late dinner- has live music coming up at 10pm. Try it out!

Lava Bar and Restaurant is run by a friendly staff and family. Adorable granddaughter always says hi. I ordered a delicious smoothie on my first visit and checkout was via QR code .My 2nd visit I ordered the Gyro platter. The meat was dry in a bed of rice. The salad ingredients were great but it was extremely salty. I've never had a salty salad in my life. I won't be returning even though the location is very convenient.

If you decide to give them your business, bring cash or quarters because they will take your money and have no explanation for it, then play stupid when you bring them proof.If this place wants to stay open, they're gonna need an upgrade in management and a new system otherwise they're FUCKED. If I could give this place ZERO stars i would. I came to the establishment on 8/8 and I was charged $32.23 that was not authorized. They had no receipt, no record or anything regarding the transaction that was charged to my card. That same night, I already paid for the two tabs I did have which were not for that amount. Every time I talked to someone at Lava, they gave me a different answer. They even said the system just took it out on its own. Excuse me?...I would've accepted a refund in cash but they weren't interested and basically told me to figure it out on my own.Im not even that upset over $32.23, it's the fact they stole from me and don't have an explanation for it, and aren't willing to help find a solution. Mind you, I have visited this place on multiple occasions.*Side note, the service its self deserves its own review because of how FUCKING TERRIBLE IT IS. Nobody checked on our table for 45 minutes. Me and my two friends were the only customers in there... It sucks because the hookah & food is pretty good, but them stealing and not giving a fuck is gonna be there down fall. Moral of the story, BRING CASH!!!!!
