Al Pastor Torta - Pretty good, flavorful and a decent size too. Would get it again.
Al Pastor Quesadilla - It was pretty tasty and would for sure get again! Not a fan of the rice or beans though.
Al Pastor Burrito - Classic local taqueria burrito. Not my favorite but still good. This was extra meat which I do recommend ordering.
Carne Asada Taco - Meh, not a big fan honestly. Meat wasn't that hot and just didn't hit the spot but good salsa's.

La Rosita Sol tasted great! I had 2 asada tacos, and an al pastor taco. I also had some of my friend's asada torta.The tacos tasted delicious and held together very well. The torta tasted alright, but the bread got soggy and it crumbled easily. The place was very spacious, but the tables are all booths so don't go in large groups.One thing I didn't like was that La Rosita Sol does not have any of their prices listed on the menu. So it was a guessing game where I got my total at the end of my order. They will give you the price if you ask, but it would be nice to have them on the menu to see. They also don't have free water so I had to buy a bottle.All in all, great tasting food in an interesting environment!

Update. We came back and ordered tacos and beef soup. O.M.G. Giant portion, tender chunks of beef, corn and potato. Worth the drive.

Guys I found it! I finally found a great Mexican spot in Louisville after searching for more than a year and after having tried - during my search - some of worst, most bland and overrated Mexican food I have ever tried in my life here in Louisville, KY.This is true West-coast style Mexican food. Everybody is Mexican, the cook, the owner and the clientele. It would rank mid-high-ish in the Bay Area which is top notch in Louisville. Not expensive, hole in the wall, great for filling up and entering food paradise.

This place was good but it just didn't wow me. The tacos were fine. The pastor was ok but I would prefer it had spent more time, or any time on a flat top. I prefer that little bit of crunchy char in the pork. Same goes for the chorizo. The tripa taco was the best thing I had. It was just really tasty. I didn't care so much for the salsas. The green was very tart and the red was a little one note. Neither really had any heat going for it. The place was doing a brisk business at lunch and the customers all seemed to enjoy what they were eating. It was a diverse clientele and that is always a good thing. These are just my opinions so take them or leave them. They serve a lot of drinks in single use plastic. I'm not a fan of that.

La Rosita has the best, most authentic tacos in Louisville. Everything here is good. The chicken is delicious and juicy and perfect in their tacos, burritos, and tortas. I'm here once a week--it's that good. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They have an open kitchen, so you can watch your food being prepared and if you so choose.

Great authentic tacos in Lou. Sofia was kind to recommend campechano, which turned out to be my fave. I tried the tripa per someone's review but i wish I hadn't. Quality of the food is great and get the horchata!
