Just three weeks open La Catrina features authentic Mexican food. The owners family works here and are very proud of what they create. The setting is a retail strip but the food is not commonplace for our area. We split the molcajete and the Birria. Well worth giving this place a try and help a new very authentic place out and give these people a shot to make it. Your tastebuds and appetite won't be disappointed.

Came in for a late lunch and everything was fantastic. Happy hour started at 3, coldest Pacifico beer that I have ever had on draft. I sampled 3 different tacos, the lingua was great, and the pastor was fantastic. My wife had two types of sopas, both very good. My son had the nachos supreme, which were amazing. My daughter had a kids meal which she liked very much. The portions were large and the pricing was fair. Everything that I tried was well seasoned and tasted like it should. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful, and she made a mean margarita. If you enjoy Mexican food a little more on the authentic side, would 10/10 recommend. If you enjoy bland and boring, stick to the chains. The decor of the place was really cool, I liked the artwork on the walls, it was a little warm in there, but not unbearable. Go check them out and keep them in business till the next time I get to come to town and eat again.
