A lovely Galentine event for the ladies with a beautiful charcuterie board and a mixed cocktail. There were some artistic ladies making very lovely items. Most interesting, though pricey, were delicate gold Forever Bracelets that you never take off. Made to order hats and monogrammed leather items were also available. Browse and find your treasure. 15

I was in Lexington for my company's sales meeting this week. My boss decided that he wanted to give out an award at our dinner. That meant I had just a few hours to pull that off. I found LV Harkness on line and was glad I did. They were able to get the beautiful crystal piece I wanted and even had it etched in the wording I wanted as well. It was amazing and I looked like a hero. Lynn and the staff there are wonderful to work with.Will definitely think of them if I ever need something like this again. I also had a little time to walk through their store. They had beautiful things there. If only I had had more time, but now that I know where they are, next time I'm in town, I will stop in.I'm forever grateful!

Beautiful store. Employees have worked hard to help me find exactly what I was looking for on multiple occasions. My favorite go to store for gifts.

The store itself is beautiful, but the employees are not very helpful. I intended to buy a lovely bowl for a friend's wedding but while there, not once was I offered any help or even acknowledged.

L.V. Harkness is one is my favorite gift and interiors stores of all time. From personalized stationary to gorgeous china and even Carleton Varney's Dorothy Draper furnishings, it's an inspiring place to shop. Brides should always register here!I also greatly value LV's client services. I purchased an adorable monogrammed earring set and the stem broke shortly after purchase. I took them in in hopes for a repair. The jewelry maker was unable to salvage them but LV instead replaced them. Those efforts and care earn lifelong fans and clients. Thanks again!

If you're looking for a store that has it ALL, then head to LV Harkness. You can choose gifts for others and for yourself from a wide array of the very best brands (William Yeoward, Hermes, Meissen, Raynaud to name a few) and LV Harkness even has a Trophy Room...in case you're in need of a trophy, tray or statue! The staff is wonderfully patient and knowledgable- and beautiful, to boot. This is one of my favorite stores in the world and by walking and shopping through it, I've learned a lot about dinnerware, glassware and the finer things in life. If you're ever in Lexington, GO!

Terrible registry experience. Awful customer service. I hate posting this, but will never shop there again. Brides-register elsewhere!!

Beautiful store. High quality merchandise. But the staff comes across as snooty and aloof. Not everyone is a Vanderbilt, a Whitney, or an Astor. The staff seems to think they know who is who... I shop here knowing what to expect. You should too...

How do they train staff for this place? "Make sure you ask them if they need help, but still try to maintain an attitude of aloofness and superiority. Don't wish them a good day. Don't wish them happy holidays. Barely smile. Put the credit card on the counter, don't hand it to them." This store is mostly useless but pretty cute; a good place to buy a nice lotion/soap/small item to bring to someone's house. I was shocked at how their employees acted, though, as though it would have been easy to be friendly, but instead they were expending energy to be unfriendly. If I had been wearing leather boots and a fancy jacket instead of my silly pina colada mama sweatshirt, would they have exerted themselves more? Hey guys, I was carrying a $300 purse, you should have upped the ante. Very distasteful experience, especially in the south, where you expect friendly. I won't be back.

Beautiful store with gorgeous gift options. It's a shame their employees are so condescending.
