Kozy Kandles

Such a fun experience! They have perfected the Cozy vibe & have plenty of scents to choose from. It felt clean & service was awesome. They had some plants, perfumes, room sprays & other things for sale. You do pay a reservation fee or if you don't have reservations & they're able to do walk-ins you pay a sitting fee. We paid $10 a piece. Plus whatever candle size you choose. It was worth it in my opinion & I will definitely be back. They have a shop cat named Meme & I loved her.

So much fun. Plants and candles in this KOZY space. Staff was great to work with. So much to choose from. Adorable containers to fantastic smells. A full bar of botanical decorations.

Kozy Kandles in New Albany is a candle lovers dream. My daughter and I stopped in a couple weeks ago before a cooking class and was wowed at the vast array of candles and the uniqueness to everything they offered. Boho inspired is the atmosphere. There's even a kitty to welcome you and show your lots of lovins. The smells emanating from Kizy Kandles was intoxicating. Heavenly to say the least. We got to meet the owner who is the definition of Cool. Once we sat at the Kozy bar we got our clipboard and were instructed to go pick out of vessel for the candles (I brought a contemporary vessel that I had received flowers in awhile back...tip!!! You get $5 off of you bring your own. The variety of vessels they have very in shape, size and price. Heidi chose a beautify smaller vessel with a lip in a garnet shade. It was perfect for her. Sniffing the scents is the best part. It's funny to see what your nose gravitates to. It was funny because my daughter and I had a lot of similar likes. I'm sure she just loved that!!! Lol. You get to make your candle. The wicks are glued and stabilized in your vessel and you stir the scent and soy wax that you code and get to pour it in. So cool. We left and had lunch at Toast on Market then came back about an hour later and enjoyed decorated the candles with a variety of goodies. Basically they heat up the top of the candle and you can place whatever you like on the top. I choseDehydrated orange slices, some dandelions and some type of greenery. It was so beautiful. They placed it in a bag and I was off to take this baby home and enjoy it. This is the perfect little fun thing for mother-daughter, best friends orHeck by yourself. It's fun and who doesn't love candles!!!! I sure do.

I have long been a fan of Kozy Kandles and now that they've joined with several other woman-owned businesses under one roof in the Kozy shop, it will certainly be a place I frequent often! It's branded Kozy Goods for the Soul and it's the truth: from houseplants to seasonal scents to self-care rituals and art, it's the perfect spot to shop for yourself or a friend. The entire vibe was relaxing and everyone was so helpful! KOZY KANDLES: these locally made soy candles and wax melts are poured by hand and ethically created. The scents are divine (today, my house smells like fresh-baked bread!) and I love that they burn all the way down and are packaged just beautifully. HOUSEPLANTS: they are impressively displayed upon entrance and the staff was more than happy to help this non-plant lady with recommendations. Also available are plant accessories and a plethora of containers to zhoosh up your home. I didn't catch whether this section has a different brand. IVORY MOON: a range of lovely items (journals, books, incense, tinctures, fragrances) that anyone can enjoy for self-care or that our witchier friends will certainly appreciate. DRIED FLOWERS: these don't sound nearly as exciting as they look! They are arranged beautifully and are the perfect touch for someone like me who isn't adventurous enough to commit to plants that are alive! Available in a range of colors and sizes, I would relish these as gifts. ART: Peyton Turner has a corner with some truly divine art - I just love the colors.

We recently had the most lovely friend day-te at Kozy Bar. The vibes are eclectic and so, so warm, it makes it easy to get well cozy for your candle making experience. You can make a reservation online to book your candlemaking experience for your group. I would definitely recommend this on the weekends. The reason we chose Kozy over the other candle bar alternatives is that your able to bring in your own container or jar for your candle. This sustainable and more personalized concept made my heart sing. (Bargain hunters, it also saves you $5!) Once checked in, you get a clip board and pen as you peruse their scented candle selection. After writing down some of your favorites, the folks behind the bar help you imagine your dream concoction and provide some insightful pointers along the way. Their super sniffers will help you identify the notes you have in your blend and what could be added to make it even more dreamy. Aside from being experts, they're also just wonderful humans. After pouring your magic potion into your container. It needs to sit for about an hour. Some folks hung out in their cozy lounge area but we walked and window shopped around New Albany. Once it's set, they melt down just the top layer of your candle so you can add gorgeous dried florals and herbs. Perfection. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely shop. Great selection of candles, plants and gifts. However, if you go for the candle bar to curate your own scent, it's lacking on so many levels. Candle bars are certainly trending right now and though the Kozy bar is Instagram worthy, I'd much rather go to the candle bar two doors down over this place for a more personal experience. (Yes there's another candle bar on the same street, talk about poor business planning.) Here were my key takeaways. Slightly overpriced, considering the $10 reservation fee does not go towards your candle.There was no presentation to the experience. No one walked you through the type of candle you were making, burn time, or discussed how to curate your own scent. You were simply told "pick a vessel and to write down some scents from the selection that you liked." After that they mixed everything for you behind the bar and told you to add scent to the wax, mix, pour and come back in an hour. The employees were less than enthusiastic about candles in general, let alone people. They seemed genuinely annoyed with everyone at the bar and in a rush to be rid of all of us. The decorations for the candle were fun. Lots of dried florals and grasses. Overall, from the stand-off ish/rude employees to the underwhelming experience overall, Kozy Kandles does not make this a tailored experience to enjoy with loved ones. Will definitely try the place next door in the future. I went there after to see what they were all about, cuter vessels, you get to do all the mixing and playing with scents, and they have wine and beer onsite so you can kick back and enjoy.

Been a few times now with friends and my mother. I really enjoy the experience of being able to make your own candle. It is a very welcoming space!

Walked in and instantly knew what I wanted. I'm typically sensitive to scents and fragrances, but these do nothing bother me at all. These candles smell amazing.

why is i so far away plus the quality SUCKED i bought jeans and immediately torn right when i put them on and then store was nasty bro i walked and a awful scent bro but awsome siuvineres and awsome clothes but omg just do better!!
