Koi Express

Went back and tried several more items on the menu. Everything was excellant quality - even though a couple items were not my cup of tea. Heres everything we tried:Appetizers:Crab rangoon rolls - for $6.50 you get 4 triangles - these are tasty but I'm not sure they are worth that price. If you got 5 or 6 pieces then I would say yes. I'll still probably get these again - but if the price was better I'd get them every single time. In my opinion, I'd go to China wall to get the crab rangoon then pick up the sushi here.Shrimp dumplings - for $7.50 you get around 10 tiny bites. I liked these but they are a bit bland and I probably wouldn't order them over the crab rangoon or spring rolls. Spring rolls - for $5.49 you get 4 rolls - I think it's a bit expensive but I might get these again. The dipping sauce isn't the best I've had with a spring roll - I wish it was more sweet / spicy. Meal:Spicy tuna roll - yes yes yes - all day long. The tuna is fresh and delicious.Dragon roll - for $13.95 this is a big roll. The eel is delicious. I'd probably get this again.Tiger roll - for $13.95 this is a big roll. Spicy crab meat topped with salmon. I'd probably get this again.Philadelphia roll - This roll was too overloaded with cream cheese for my liking. This would be a great roll for someone to start trying sushi as the fish is lighter. I wouldn't get this again only because I want my ratio of fish to be higher than the cream cheese.Dynamite roll - yes yes yes - all day long. This is a deep fried roll and is warm. This with a spicy tuna roll and ya got dinner.Lexington roll - I really liked this as well. Bubble tea - I've tried the caramel and the taro - I'm not a fan of the tea. I love it at Boba Time but we don't have those here. The bobas seem too hard and I'm not sure if it's the quality of the boba out of they aren't getting it warm enough. We went to Koi Express Restaurant off Richmond Rd. and it was really good. I got the Hibachi Chicken Teriyaki. It had just a good balance of vegetables, chicken and rice. I had to go back again in a couple of days because I couldn't get it off my mind. I highly recommend it.

Service was exceptional. Food was good. Small dining area, but the did not have to wait to dine in. Overall, I will return.
