Came here with my 10Yo. After school. 3 large cookies for $5.00 snicker doodle , peanut butter and chocolate chip. They are delicious at a reasonable price. My son also likes to warm them up at home.

Want to smile? Walk into Kizito Cookies. The smell of delicious cookies envelopes you as soon as you walk in.I hadn't been in in a few years until visiting recently, and not much has changed happily. Kizito has a great selection of cookies plus a wide array of African jewelry and items.I got a couple dozen cookies to send as gifts, with a few added on to my order to indulge in at home.Kizito Cookies are my son's favorite too because they are so large. He lights whenever I bring one home for him.Kizito, never change!

As many times as my friend and I had eaten at Imps (aka Impellizzeri's) across the street, it was finally time to pay a visit here. My friend had been here before but, I hadn't. Even though we were full from Imps, I still wanted to get a Kizito Cookie and what a perfect day to go on small business Saturday. So as we proceeded to walk over, going in we are the only customers in the store, it is smaller than what I expected. It's mostly a bakery with some Hand made African craft items. My friend and I spent a little time in there while speaking to Ms. Kizito herself and apparently knew her and her son personally. I was thinking of which cookie I wanted and the decision wasn't an easy one either. I went with the chocolate chip and my friend went with black and white. Cookies are reasonably priced here for the size. Will definitely be back, Ms. Kizito and her other employee were warm and welcoming. Cookies from here are definitely the perfect desserts after a filling meal from Imps on a weekend.

Just a huge SHOUTOUT to our favorite cookie in the whole wide world!! Just bought a bunch. So many choices. But LUCKY IN KENTUCKY is very dear to our heart, as is Elizabeth, the owner. Born in Africa under a banana tree, she continued the tradition of her father and his bakery. If u are one of the few that have not tried this hand size cookies, please try. You can find them at her storefront on Bardstown Road, or at other local businesses like Paul's Fruit Market. Priced at $1.49 each, what's not to love!!

I used to come to this store a lot when I was younger. My sisters and my mom and I enjoyed buying cookies and buying the trinkets! Now, you can buy her cookies all over! I've seen them at Qdoba and my mom said they sell them at Bats games. I'm pretty sure I've seen her cookies in Ohio as well. It's always warm in the store! The whole room is basically the kitchen and store! The prices aren't bad at all for the cookies. I purchased a cranberry and white chocolate, nutty chocolate, Lucky in Kentucky ( pecan and chocolate), pumpkin and chocolate, and oatmeal.I've honestly tried about all the flavors they have, including Snickerdoodle and the ever so popular chocolate chip. Can't go wrong with any flavors!I've purchased some of the African trinkets before as well. They're really awesome pieces to have in your space. I think the owner is from Uganda? Very cool!

I got a chance to try these cookies at Worldfest and I'm so glad I did! The cookies are huge and so delicious. The chocolate chip with pecans was my favorite. The ultimate oatmeal is good and includes nuts, raisins and coconut. The pumpkin raisin is very soft and tasty, just in time for Fall and the original chocolate chip was great of course. There are several other varieties of treats and based on these 4, I highly recommend. The staff was great in helping me decide on 4 flavors to try, so if you're not very sure they'll give you good suggestions. You'll be back for more.

A small mom and pop store that sells African descent items, and has a killer bakery with it. Kizito was very friendly, personable, glad I decided to stop in. I bought 4 cookies, the bigger than your hand variety. I got chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, and double chocolate. All very good, soft, and chewy, all good flavor. Make a stop sometime and patronize this little family run business.

Outstanding batch made cookies of many traditional and seasonal kinds! Cute store with on brand gifts and toys. The founder and operator is a person well met. I stop here to buy dozens of individually wrapped cookies every time I'm in town. Love it.
