King Buffet

Four of us went for lunch, a late lunch on a Friday! Usually one of us doesn't like something about the place that we go, but this time we were all in agreement. The food was great. No complaints. We are four women who have different tastes and this is the first time we enjoyed what we ate and how the place inside looked and the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the servers. They kept taking our dirty plates away! The hot tea was hot and tasted very good. There was plenty to choose from, and we were extremely impressed. That's why I don't look at stars sometimes because I'm not sure why this has low star rating. If it had 10 stars, I would give it 10 stars.

Waitresses make fun of you and try to control how much food you get. They always have an attitude when they come to the table to fill your drinks.

The food was horrible. Most wasn't even edible. Way overcooked, hard chicken. Nothing was fresh at all. Don't waste your money here. I promise you'll leave hungry because the food is just not edible.

I wish there were an option to give two different ratings...one for the quality and pricing of their food and one for service. For food, I would honestly give 5 stars. For South Eastern Kentucky it's probably the best one could find. However, there are two waitresses at King Buffet who are the absolute worst and they deserve not even one star. For months these two women, whomever they are, have done their level best to always make my autistic son and I feel so unwelcome. I would like to say here that the male waiter is not included in this review. He is wonderful and so welcoming and kind. I can't pronounce his name, let alone spell it. I hope he sees this review so he will know how much we appreciated him.Anyway, there is so much that has happened in the past few months with their behavior towards us that this review would turn into a book if I listed everything. I will say these women are the absolute rudest, laziest, unprofessional waitresses I have ever come across. It is clear that they are family, else they would have been fired a long time ago. It's also clear that the owner, whomever they may be, care nothing about losing customers. How do I know this? Because one of the young ladies at the register has told us that the owner is aware and that there have been so many complaints against them and yet, they are still there to continue treating customers badly. What a shame and kind of sickening, to be honest. If one wants to eat there, that's great. Just spare yourself of the women waitresses and go any day except for Mondays. That is when the male waiter has the day off.

I don't know what happened here, but it's possible this place is a victim of covid downsizing. Whatever the reason, the food overall has fallen dramatically in quality. The to go buffet food was limited in selection and was stale compared to the fresh, hot selections last time I visited about a year and a half ago. It's really sad to see this place in the shape it's in and I sincerely hope they can improve their quality soon. It used to be a solid fast food Chinese go to for this area.

Food is always delicious when we go! We've been going here for a couple of years now when we're in the mood for some Chinese cuisine. the ladies are always nice to us and keep us up on refills.

Just, noThe hot and sour soup is so thick it seems congealed. A few of the entrees were kinda goopy like they've been there a while. Then the worst part was having to pay $15.00 per buffet.

Lackluster buffet with exorbitant pricing. Once was enough to know that it wasn't worth the money.

Not very clean they make you eat on paper plates and use plastic silverware would not go again

the service is absolutely terrible. I've went here with my daughter and husband once I was sick after and the people that work over there are very rude. food is absolutely disgusting and youre lucky if you don't get sick. they were very rude to us and gave my daughter dirty looks. took everything in me not to get up and say something about there faces towards my 1 year old daughter. ugh. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! don't go there put them out of business already.
