Kim's Restaurant Korean Rice Cake

I loved this restaurant. Real Korean people are cooking and running the show. The duk is fresh and delicious. Their menu is streamlined, but they're very good at what they make. I got the chicken soup and the honey duk and I will be back again soon!

We finally made it here, and this place is excellent! Great, authentic Korean food and friendly service. We got Kimbap, Cheese Tteokbokki, and Beef Bulgogi. All were excellent. Highly recommend!

The service was quite good. Nice lady taking orders and keeping an eye on things. Not the best Korean food around Louisville but very good. Looks pricey but the side dishes make up for that. I would eat here again. Has the feel of a small diner, comfortable feeling.

I have frequented many Korean Restaurants in this city (I am Korean) but I was thoroughly displeased. Not only was the Kimbap not like any Kimbap I have ever had, the Bulgogi was "boiled beef" on a plate with green, red and yellow bell peppers!?! This dish lacked any soy, sesame, garlic and/or presence of scallions. I hope this was a "one off" instance, I never post damaging or derogatory reviews but something here is not right! I went to pay for these two plates and was nearly charged $35 for lunch (which was MUCH higher than the menu price) but after a couple attempts to communicate the issue, it was cleared up, still cost almost $24 plus the gratuity for a very subpar lunch. I will wait and see how future reviews go but I am not holding out much hope and not in a big hurry to go back yet!

An amazing chef creating some delicious authentic Korean food! He waits on every customer himself and then cooks yours delicious food!

Walked in to place a to go order. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Incredible food. This is my second time here and the food has been great both times. Can't wait to try even more.

Really wanted to love this because the people are so extremely sweet, but I just couldn't. The prices are extremely steep for what you get. Bibimbap was $30 and only came with a small cup of gochujang. It was also very bland, and I couldn't taste any marinade on the meat or any sort of seasoning, which was extremely unfortunate. I've had much better bibimbaps for over half the price, ones that come with kimchi or some sort of side as well. The kimbap was $10 and was also slightly bland and didn't even come with any sauce or anything to go with it. To be fair, this was actually my first time eating a kimbap so I'm not sure if that's just the standard for them. Owners are so sweet and I want to come back and get the Japchae just to give it another chance. Maybe my review will change by then.

Drove right pass, turned around and grabbed couple of my all time favorite Korean food items. I just had Korean New Year food with my mom so this place was a delight to see open. Tasty kimbap, I enjoyed the flavors and appreciate that it was different than the norm! I would come back for the kimbap, Half Korean here.
