Keystone Liquors

We were bouncing between distillery tours in Bardstown when I realized we were quickly approaching Keystone Liquors. I received the recommendation from the It's Bourbon Night YouTube channel to visit the liquor store as they usually carried a good whiskey selection. Given we had a few minutes to kill, we stopped by the establishment, where I ended up purchasing a bottle of the Booker's 2020 Boston Batch bourbon. That was one bottle that I haven't seen in any of the stores I've frequented between Florida and Kentucky, so I was impressed with my find. Part of the appeal of the liquor store is the people that run it. They were very friendly, hospitable, and provided some recommendations on whiskey-laced chocolates that were available for purchase. We chatted with the owner for a few minutes before paying for our bottle. He made our experience worthwhile. Additionally, if you are on-the-go, they have a drive-through where you can order and pick up your liquor, wine, and beer needs. The store is right down the street from the Lux Row Distillers, as well as not far from a movie theater. Well recommended to check out if you're running low on liquor supplies and for fair prices.

They quick to get you on your way. Very nice staff and really like the owners. I would recommend keystone liquors to anyone in Bardstown are just visiting.

Didn't have time for any Bourbon tastings as we passed through town, but I wanted to see if I could find any unique or small batch bottles not easily found elsewhere. I definitely did. Well worth the visit if you're in town.

This may very well be the largest liquor store in Bardstown, Ky. If it's a chain I'm unaware. Something unique is a drive up window for purchases. Spacious parking lot that was clean. Signage is excellent just off the main city drag outside of downtown. When approaching the lot was empty and clerk was outside having a smoke. Inside was clean with a ton of bottles and nice bourbon selection with excellent pricing. Also a few store picks. However nothing hard to find really in the bourbon department. Those are kept behind the counter and not a great selection and pricey secondary pricing. The shelves were not fronted which drives me crazy and that just lazy of clerks to not move the bottles up. I ended up walking out empty handed, but probably should have purchased the Woodford Double Oaked store pick for $59. I would definitely return.

Friendly service! Very knowledgeable of all spirits, but especially bourbon. The owner is a great tour guide for the surrounding area. This should be your first stop on the bourbon trail. Let them at you up with a great bottle and point you in the right direction for all your tours of Bardstown and Kentucky as a whole.
