Oh wow! I am already excited about leaving my cat here. Look at the star review on this place!So I am looking to move my crazy kitten, Wilde, soon to be a cat and he is still non neutered. There are limited amount of places who will take a non neutered male and I am so glad that this place is one of them. Their boarding process is easy as a new client. Fill out some forms and have your pet's medical records on your phone or documented. CON:THEY DO NOT ALLOW FOR EXTENDED STAYS. I want to leave my pile of fur and claws there for a month, visiting every two weeks and the representative stated that "The best you could do is leave him for two weeks and then take him for two days and then bring him back for another two weeks."Suggestion: I wish they would allow vets to fax over or email over pet medical records.I went to actually check this place out today in person and it seems like there is a lot going on. It definitely feels like it is in a rural part of Lexington, if that makes sense. I do not like the back roads I have to take to get here. Tates Creek also bisects the road to this location, but it is down like two lanes (one coming and one going).

I've taken my dogs to Keshlyn for several years now and have always felt great about their stays at Keshlyn! The dogs get plenty of exercise in an indoor/outdoor run and have all the necessities and love they need. My 2 dogs stay together, which they enjoy and we enjoy because of the reduced rate!

I absolutely love Keshlyn Kennel my family and I discovered them in the mid 90s after getting my first dog, Rusty. We only used them to board our dogs when we would go on vacation. We started using their grooming service once a month with our last dog for her bath and grooming. Our current dog Sydney goes there once a month for grooming and for boarding a couple times a year. She loves going there, always gets excited and seems happy to see the staff. The staff are wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and you can tell how much each one of them absolutely loves animals and treats yours like their own. To me that is about the most important thing when leaving your pet, which if you are like me is a family member, that they are happy and are being cared for by people that are animal lovers and treat your animal with all the care and attention you yourself give them.

I've used Keshlyn for years, every dog I've had has spent time there! They are awesome, affordable and my pups have always been taken well care of. Highly recommend.

Awesome kennel, they treat my dog like family, great services and facility! Sometimes I have to fly out of town on very short notice and Keshlyn is very accommodating!!

We have taken our dog there several times over the last 4 years and have never had any issues. The staff is always very nice and very attentive to any special care that our dog needs.

In response to other people's reviews, the owners live directly behind the kennel and somebody is on the property 24 hours a day! The dogs have indoor/outdoor runs unlike many kennels in the area.The dogs love coming! My dog can't wait to come through the door. Ive heard from many many people how excited their dogs are to come and I think that speaks for itself.

I think it needs to be said that at Keshlyn no one is in the kennel where your pet is for the entire night. No one to see if they become ill or have a problem. I am unsure if this is normal , but I know it's not what most pet owners wouldn't want to think of their little one being in strange surroundings with no human precautions. I do believe they are very good if you just want to have your pet groomed.

The dogs have very limited play time, and are kept in kennels majority of the day. Our dog did not have a good experience, and we switched to a wonderful doggy daycare that lets the dogs run free all day and I'm happy to say Wojo is super excited when we pull up and exhausted when we pick him up!!

A great and caring place to take my German Shepherd, Alley, whenever I need to. My work schedule is hectic-always having to travel and the flexibility is incredibly helpful. would recommend to anyone.
