If you see an old man on a golf cart like this know that your day is about to get ruined. This place is not kid friendly!

I was invited to attend a company golf outing and while I didn't play golf, I was able to experience the full course and professional team at Kearney Hill Links. The carts were lined up for our guests hours before the event, tagged and arranged in order by their starting hole. They'd also set up two tables for us to use at registration. We were able to use any golf cart to ride around the course and visit with guests. While I can't speak to the difficulty of the course (par was 72), it was beautiful and very clean. A lady drove around a drink cart with sodas, beers and snacks. She was very friendly and treated our guests well. The team also provided us with a shade canopy where we judged a closest to the pin contest. I also appreciated that we were able to provide our guests with cold water bottles and peanut butter crackers without it being an issue we hadn't purchased the items from them. We were also able to have a vendor bring their trailer and unload a huge grill to make lunch for our guests. After grabbing a plate we used their upstairs clubhouse to eat and reward the day's winners. Their team was right beside our reps putting up scores and measuring closest to the pin. Ample parking, maintained course, friendly team. I'm confident our company will be back next year!

Walked 9 holes on Mother's Day Sunday night. Had been several years since I played Kearney Hills last. Staff was courteous and helpful. Can't beat the twilight rate of $12 after 6:00 PM. Rough was a little long and swallowed up a couple of balls, but still enjoyed playing.

A gem. Designed by the great course designer Pete Dye, this course is always in great shape. And like Jack Nicklaus' course designs, Dye became less punitive with his late(r) career deigns, like Kearney, and made his courses more sporting, more fun; but still they ask you to make the right shot, and reward the "thinking golfer".I'd rank this as being equal to TPC as Sawgrass (the one with the famous island 17th green) and a little better than his course at Purdue. And you can play this course that has hosted two USGA Amateur Public Links Championships with a cart for under 40 bucks.

What a treat. Beautiful course. Great condition and nice layout. Far from your typical Muni. Staff very welcoming. Exceptional value. Play it if you get the opportunity. I will definitely play anytime I find myself in Lexington.

Gotta think this is the best course in Lexington. Really good, challenging golf course. Pete Dye can be a real sadist. When the winds are up, which is often, shooting a good score out here will become a major accomplishment. Staff was nice and the green fees are very fair.

This is a tired links course, but very reasonably priced. If you hit straight and avoid the wind you should score well. No shared greens. Food is average and cart service is sporadic bit at least they have it.

Pete Dye design. Nicest city course and most challenging. Always seems to be windy out here for this links style golf.

Awesome layout and 11-13 are what I call a tough stretch. Green complexes are well designed and holes are well designed however the greens need to be fast and frim. They absolutely do not roll true because they are spongy and too long. Sand could be raked daily by staff as well; especially after rain days prior. Other than slow spongy greens its a great course. Pace of play is slightly on the slow side. Good course.

Awesome municipal golf course. I'm a big fan of public golf and can't express the value for a sub $40 green fee. A Pete and P.B. Dye design the course is fair but fun and I can't recommend the walk enough. The greens are in fantastic shape and the fairways immaculate. Small bucket of balls was $4 and perfect for a warm up. Played it passing through the Lexington and I'm jealous of residents that can play it every weekend.

This is the worst golf course I have ever been to. The staff is horrible. While we were playing there were people behind us and we were going to let them play through. We pulled our cart half way into the grass and half way on the cart path so they could pass. I would have thought it wasn't a big deal but the staff proceeded to drive out and tell us that it is cart path only. We were barely on the grass. I would suggest never spending your money at this place.
