This place is so great! From the very cute, anime inspired interior, to the very kind and lovely staff, to the bomb-ass food, if you havent been here yet you gotta go!Started off with an order of gyoza and spring rolls. They were small, but super flavorful and a perfect start for the main event which was a spicy miso ramen (Scallion, corn, mushroom, soft boiled egg, seaweed, narutomaki, Char Siu Pork). This was incredible and so awesome on a chilly night. And it actually was spicy and not dumbed down for the majority of the population. Definitely one of the best places in this area for Japanese ramen, I will be back for sure.

Our second time dining outdoors at Kabuki in downtown Jeffersonville. Their tonkotsus are phenomenal. They also give you chili oil to add in if you so desire. Every dish we order here is memorable. They give a generous portion of pork belly in their tonkotsu. The pork and egg are cooked perfectly. I was treated like a guest in their home. There were many servers in attendance. The vegetarian delight was exceptional, due to the 2 sauces. I plan to go back again this week . Plus my meal came with my favorite soup - Miso. I'm not sure the restaurant has air-conditioning. It was 90° outside, but the large window was open. And there are ceiling fans. But I still felt a little over-warm. Even so, I enjoyed my dinner.

We eat here periodically, but sadly the quality is not consistent. The food tends to be either really great, or not so much. I.e. one time the food is fresh, the meat will be super tender and melt in your mouth, then next time vegetables seem old and tough and the meat is gristly and nasty. My brother and I both like the Kabuki Fried Rice Special, which is fried rice with vegetables, spices, your choice of meat and a fried egg. Other family faves are the Hibachi Chicken, Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon, and Bento Box. With the consistency issues we usually patronize other restaurants that are consistently good, and that have better prices as well (i.e. we regularly patronize a restaurant that serves a very similar fried rice to their fried rice special, and it's priced at $10 vs Kabuki at $14).

I wanted a lunch that would fill me up, and Kabuki did not disappoint. I ordered delivery via the Yelp app, and first bright spot: It was ready and delivered within 40 minutes. Second bright spot: The food! I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Char Siu Pork and a Taro Milk Tea with tapioca boba. The ramen had a depth of flavor that I love so much from ramen, and this bowl was full of noodles, egg, pork and more. I also appreciated how the broth was sent separate from the ramen, so that the noodles didn't become too mushy. And the milk tea was just what I needed as a pick-me-up. So in review, the ramen was the bowl of comfort food, and the milk tea was a bit of pep. I will definitely order from Kabuki again soon.

I am a very avid fan of Japanese cuisine and particularly sushi and hibachi. I'm always looking for a great new spot to enjoy this particular type of food and Kabuki Hibachi & Ramen in Jeffersonville provides exactly that and does a very excellent job to boot. You'll notice right away the environment of this establishment is very catered to Japanese culture with lots of paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling as well as several anime posters spread throughout along with playing very popular Japanese Anime on their TV. It's a very friendly and welcoming place with plenty of places to sit from high top tables to a few benches with tables at them, you shouldn't have a hard time finding a place to sit. The menu has quite a lot to offer from sushi rolls to the hibachi which is what I went with on this trip and in particular, their chicken & shrimp. You can tell they take pride in presentation because when your dish is served the meal looks very appealing to the eye. I also went with on this occasion their Monkey Brain appetizer which is a friend avocado with spicy mayo and tuna which was very delicious and comes in a portion that to me is what I think of when I hear the word appetizer. The hibachi I had was very good and the amount of flavor in each and every bite was as savory as I hoped it would be. Hibachi comes with soy sauce and their yum yum sauce to dip your meat, fish or protein in of which are also very tasty. I also decided to try one of their many selections of tea that they offer. From milk to fruit tea each has its own distinct flavor and being as I'm a fan of matcha that's what I went with and it was also very delicious. I absolutely recommend checking out Kabuki if you're ever on this side of the Ohio River as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I am SO excited to have this so close to home! Although I have frequented the location out on 10th, dare I say this hibachi even beats them! For only the 2nd day open, they have it figured out! First of all - monkey brains - who knew? Avocado stuffed with crab and spicy tuna, tempura fried and drizzled with yum yum sauce. Soooooo gooooood!!!Miso soup was hot and flavorful (and I got my order to go! It was still hot when I got home!) I chose the shrimp and scallop hibachi with noodles - IYKYK. These noodles are BOMB!! Amazing location - can't wait to have sushi in front of the big front window that rolls up in the summer. Thank you for sharing your yummies in downtown Jeff!!!

100% didn't know what I was going to get here, just wanted to try something new. First, service is top notch. Timely in greeting you, comfortable in giving you time to figure it out, but also gives you honest recommendations.Ambiance is cool. Laid back, low key. Has a window, that opens and you can watch the traffic go by while you eat.Ok, let's talk food. I stared with the hokkaido milk tea. It was freakin awesome. I've never had a milk tea, but this was the one to start with. I didn't do any add ons because I wanted to taste it as is. It wa so good I ordered a second to go!I also had the Miso Ramen. I'm not sure what I expected but this too surpasses any expectations. Great flavor, not spicy. Had a variety of ingredients to keep it interesting. Not only will I be back, I strongly suggest you pop in. If anything, grab a tea to meander through the streets.
