Despite some of the lack luster reviews, We found that eating a meal from/at Junction Station is like eating dinner at your grand mothers. The mega is Classic southern foods, the portions were large. The area in the dining room and facility was very clean, but most of the staff is always helpful and kind. The store offers a great variety as well. This is a must stop if your are on the way to the nearby lake.

Stop in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Everything was good. Eggs cooked right bacon and sausage were good. Biscuits and gravy were very good. Coffee was ok. All the local farmers /folks come here so that's the best stamp of approval.

Stopped in early at 6:40 AM headed home from a weekend at the lake. Decided to order a sausage biscuit and a cup of dark roast coffee. The sausage biscuits made from scratch and are delicious and I think the dark roast coffee may be my all-time favorite cup of coffee anywhere in the world. Everything is fresh and I highly recommend this place.

Not a lot of options in this area, so I was pleasantly surprised to come across this place. The fried catfish was seasoned well and had a good crunch. Hush puppies were the size of racquet balls. I look forward to trying their breakfast next time I'm in the area.

Too expensive on some things, the customer service is terrible when putting in your order. Some show no interest or pay much attention and when paying before leaving the girls behind the counter are on the phone without paying attention to the customer, the food is okay I guess... depending what you order I suppose!

Food was a notch above cold. The person that took my order was simply a real snob or a true brain dead teenager that would have rather been some place else. It was hard for me to determine. I ordered 2 of the same identical sandwiches with breaded mushrooms on the side. I was given my order and it was a to go order, no bag to carry had to juggle everything to the cash register in my arms, except I never made it to the cash register, I felt something was wrong because of the lack of ambition I was met with during my ordering process. I was right, one meal had what I ordered the other only had breaded mushrooms. Returning to bring my situation to someone that might care I was again met with total lack luster ambition. My order was finally corrected and in the mean time my meal was even colder than it was to begin with. I tried to express my issues with the cashier, I was met with another zombie. Two little sandwiches with Mushrooms $23 and change, that about shocked my system really good, but after all that I went through to get my measly pathetic meals I wasn't really shocked. I will never return there ever.

Bad customer service. Grabbed an energy drink and some donuts but they had both registers down at the same time. Took 10 minutes to check out and I was the first in line.

I would give a 0 to this place if I could! We were fishing on Dale hollow lake and rented a room at the Wyndham motel down the street. Since we knew nothing about the area I asked the girl working at the motel for a great place for dinner. She recommended the junction station. She claimed they served southern home cooking. She said that the food was homemade. This is definitely not southern county cooking. It was fried chicken that was hard and dried out with instant mash potatoes frozen okra that is deep fried and all of their food was sitting on a buffet under a heating lamp. I ordered a chicken breast with corn n okra and my husband ordered the chicken fingers and fries. We both took a few bites paid our $27 bill and went to a different restaurant. The food was some of the worst I have ever had and nothing had been homemade. Save your self time and money and skip this disaster establishment. Everything they serve is disgusting and I am shocked the health department hasn't shut them down

Don't let the name fool you. We were staying on vacation in a nearby town and decided to go for a site seeing ride. We got hungry and stopped to ask a local fron Albany who served a good breakfast. He recommended the Junction. On the corner of 127 and 90. It is a truckstop. Our breakfast was excellent. Biscuits n gravy. Omelets. Perfect fried eggs. Grits. Hash brown or home fries were perfect. My brother has to eat gluten free so he ordered their veggie omelette. He said it was the best he ever had.

We like the Junction! This truck stop, open 24/7 is a great place to go to at 3:00 AM their food is always stocked, and you can help yourself to a game of KENO while your waiting. There is also a gas station on the other side and it has everything you need for a road trip.
